Jonesy_rules Posted 6 April 2005 Posted 6 April 2005 How many people aren't gettin one next season? that have had them for awhile and what are the reason?
Buzzell Posted 6 April 2005 Posted 6 April 2005 I got a season ticket when Leicester were in the Prem but after that I couldnt afford it this year. HOPEFULLY I will be getting one this year.
Jonesy_rules Posted 6 April 2005 Author Posted 6 April 2005 Due to educational reason (going Uni) i'm not gettin one, as to travel home every few weeks will cost to much, however i shall go to more away games!
Steven Posted 6 April 2005 Posted 6 April 2005 Due to educational reason (going Uni) i'm not gettin one, as to travel home every few weeks will cost to much, however i shall go to more away games! 88417 Where are you going to Uni?
Simon Posted 6 April 2005 Posted 6 April 2005 Next season will actually be my first season ticket due to me graduating uni (hopefully!)
Alexikokopops Posted 6 April 2005 Posted 6 April 2005 I'm the other way round, I haven't been able to afford one before but now I've discovered Overdrafts Plus my Uni (Warwick) makes it easier for me to travel to Leicester (from the edge of Coventry instead of Lincoln)
Fox in a Box Posted 6 April 2005 Posted 6 April 2005 OK At filbo we had a 14,000 strong base under MON and we were doing well... with fairweather fans this made 21,000 around about. In the First year at the walkers 16,000 or there abouts with with fairweather fans this made 29,000 + and full allocation of away support upto 32,000 £5 Fans fixtures usually got 29-31,000 When we got promoted 21,000 season tickets (bulked up by incentives for season ticket holders £25 per new holder I had 3 made me a saving of £75) This made good reading but only 1 of those renewed this year (of which they will again next year. I will be getting my loyaltie 15% making mine £245 (£11 per game) before April 30. You can spread payment s over 3 months if you read the literature. This makes it easier for us fans. We need 16,000 (tim davies mentioned) to be ok financially with fairweather fans and away support this should make 22,500 of which we see against Millwall/Wolves With under 8's free this should ...'fill in the gaps' in the family end OK, The board should be trying hard to get the 16,000 maybe upto 18,000 with a price reduction for away fans of £10 to fill the away end!! (this being the same when we travel to there grounds) This should bulk it up to 24,000 on a reg basis and 29,000 local derbies etc. A full stadium gives better atmosphere and then the team play better!
Jonesy_rules Posted 6 April 2005 Author Posted 6 April 2005 it's onyly brum, and £7each way train ticket, however because some weeks i'll be out on placements (god knows where) it's unlikely i'll be able to get back, espically when games are moved at short notice / midweek! however, when possible i will go to home games, but more away games! Providing West Brom get relegated, Hull promoted, Derby and Forest stay in the Champ, these are all games i'll go too, both Home and Away! it's gonna be hard, but when / IF i become a successful teacher, a season ticket may not be in my possession then either
Matt Posted 6 April 2005 Posted 6 April 2005 I renewed on Saturday. Next season will be my second season as a STH, just hope theres more to cheer about next season
C-man Posted 6 April 2005 Posted 6 April 2005 I think about 12000 will get season tickets next year. The average attendance will be about 19000. Pretty dissapointing
Anish Posted 6 April 2005 Posted 6 April 2005 I think about 12000 will get season tickets next year. The average attendance will be about 19000. Pretty dissapointing 88754 On what basis do you say that? I am still uncertain about getting a ST - I'd like to get one but I'm going to be a student again for a year so I'll need all my savings to go towards my living costs (I won't have a loan this time). I doubt I will continue working on the turnstiles cos it makes matchdays much longer and I need time to study
Scow Posted 6 April 2005 Posted 6 April 2005 I'll be renewing, but I can't take advantage of the 'Early bird' offer as I'm skint. It will be interesting to see what the club propose in terms of individual matchday ticket prices. Maybe a revised version of the grades they've adopted this season?
Teeno Posted 7 April 2005 Posted 7 April 2005 I'll be renewing like Scowy though, haven't got the money yet to do the early thing, but I'll probably do the instalment option and pay over 3 periods.
Robsdee Posted 7 April 2005 Posted 7 April 2005 Already renewed ours, the early bird thing made a big saving on 2 tickets, over £100 with the 5% loyalty bonus too
Rachel - WCF Posted 7 April 2005 Posted 7 April 2005 i'm not sure if i'll renew mine got to talk to me brother first as i havent been to enough games for it to be worth my while if he helps it might
Durnerz Posted 7 April 2005 Posted 7 April 2005 I dont know what i'm doing next year so if I do renew it wont be till august time, I'd like to as I love my seat and the people around me.
Stuliasz Posted 7 April 2005 Posted 7 April 2005 Despite uni commitments, I'll be getting one. Gives me a good reason to come home
Ash Posted 7 April 2005 Posted 7 April 2005 I really want to renew but due to financial reasons i'm not sure.
Cat Burger Posted 7 April 2005 Posted 7 April 2005 I am a fairweather/stingy fan, I will not be getting one next season!
john_lcfc Posted 7 April 2005 Posted 7 April 2005 I am a fairweather/stingy fan, I will not be getting one next season! 89336 dissapointed mate
