sham Posted 3 August 2008 Posted 3 August 2008 I was at the 12:00 showing of The Dark Knight at odeon and thre sitting in the cinema was Tunchev n Kish. After the movie ended i spoke to them briefly. Kish was hoping he would start in the next game and tunchev was walking normally and so the knock he got yesterday is minor and will be ready for MK DONS. I tried to swindle any transfer news from them but to no avail

I tried to swindle any transfer news from them but to no avail I do hope Tunchev settles in well and doesn't rely on kish too much, I know it must be hard when you don't speak good English. I rememeber watching some report Stringer did from Slovenia on World - Morrison was asked if he had spoken with Tunchev yet, and he kind of made out that Tunchev was sticking with Kish. Quite understandable but the amount of foriegners that have fooked me over on champ man makes me a pessimist

sham Posted 3 August 2008 Author Posted 3 August 2008 How did Tunchev understand The Dark Knight if he doesnt speak English? I have no clue, he seemed happy enough eating his extra large popcorn. I got to add though, when i said "welcome to leicester city" he said "thank you very much" so i guess he's picking stuff up?

I got to add though, when i said "welcome to leicester city" he said "thank you very much" so i guess he's picking stuff up? It is a lot easier to learn a language when you're living in a country where everyone speaks it. I don't think he'll struggle to fit in, it helps when your a star player!
Matt Posted 3 August 2008 Posted 3 August 2008 Kaebi - MK 2 (As in learning the language)...Barr the youtube footage?!
C-man Posted 3 August 2008 Posted 3 August 2008 Kaebi - MK 2 (As in learning the language)...Barr the youtube footage?! Yeah but he had to learn a completely new alphabet and had no-one really to help him!
Jay Posted 3 August 2008 Posted 3 August 2008 Yeah but he had to learn a completely new alphabet and had no-one really to help him! what you besides the translator the club paid for...
Hullfox Posted 3 August 2008 Posted 3 August 2008 Yeah but he had to learn a completely new alphabet and had no-one really to help him! He had an interpreter alongside him and could have quite easily found some tutoring locally had he have wanted to.
Wooly Posted 3 August 2008 Posted 3 August 2008 Tunchev was shouting in English at other defenders a bit yesterday, was that quiet early on you could hear every word! Henderson kept shouting back. ALEX, ALEX!!! ALEX!

lildave3 Posted 3 August 2008 Posted 3 August 2008 I thought you was knowledgeable on football and stuff like that little man. I am. But Bulgarian flags have nothing to do with football.

I got to add though, when i said "welcome to leicester city" he said "thank you very much" so i guess he's picking stuff up? English is not a difficult language to learn. I bet he can speak it already in fact, i'd be surprised if he cant. It's just a smokescreen to help him settle in.
Father Ted Posted 4 August 2008 Posted 4 August 2008 English is not a difficult language to learn. I bet he can speak it already in fact, i'd be surprised if he cant. It's just a smokescreen to help him settle in. In fact, English is one of the hardest to learn But in the majority of Europe, English is a second language and most learn it at school like most here have to learn French.
renards Posted 4 August 2008 Posted 4 August 2008 Saw Henderson in Terrace last night and Kishishev at Fosse park this morning Division three and the credit crunch hitting the players now. O for the days when they all had mock tudor detached houses in Groby.
