syston_fox Posted 18 August 2008 Posted 18 August 2008 I believe there is a bus from the station to the ground. My train tickets got booked today, £12.50 adult return. How the hell...... when I looked it was about 30 quid
Matt Posted 18 August 2008 Posted 18 August 2008 Unless I am much mistaken - a bus going to the Park and Ride near the racecourse is in totally the opposite direction to the train station and therefore not terribly useful. Oh. I don't know I knew it was too good to be true Daggers is correct according to Multimap it is a 44 minute walk from the Cheltenham Train Station to Cheltenham Racecourse thus you might aswell just walk the 40 minutes (Approx) to the ground.... Multimap - Cheltenham Train Station to Cheltenham Racecourse
Bert Posted 18 August 2008 Author Posted 18 August 2008 How the hell...... when I looked it was about 30 quid Try getting singles....
Daggers Posted 18 August 2008 Posted 18 August 2008 Oh. I don't know I knew it was too good to be true There's a direct bus - I'll phone them tomorrow morning
lildave3 Posted 18 August 2008 Posted 18 August 2008 Oh shit, i meant adult. The kids ones are 6.75 I think if anyone wants to get on it. What train is everyone getting home? 6.75?! We're clearly all over that Andy!
Bert Posted 18 August 2008 Author Posted 18 August 2008 Andy - I think Maybes may have 2 train tickets (adult, with railcard) to sell.

Maybes Posted 18 August 2008 Posted 18 August 2008 Andy - I think Maybes may have 2 train tickets (adult, with railcard) to sell. This is correct. 2 Adult train tickets going for £13 each. Railcard needed - unless you want to risk it.
Maybes Posted 18 August 2008 Posted 18 August 2008 How the hell...... when I looked it was about 30 quid Saver return from leics to brum is £8.50 Then singles from Birmingham to Cheltenham and back you can get tickets for like £4 and £6 I think. Thats all without a rail card.
Floating Fox Posted 18 August 2008 Posted 18 August 2008 This is correct. 2 Adult train tickets going for £13 each. Railcard needed - unless you want to risk it. Try to get Jamie or Damo involved. I'm still safe for kids. Which will be less than £13.
lildave3 Posted 18 August 2008 Posted 18 August 2008 Try to get Jamie or Damo involved. I'm still safe for kids. Which will be less than £13. 6.75! Get them booked!

Tevez Posted 19 August 2008 Posted 19 August 2008 Someone else do it! I take my hat off to you friend.
lildave3 Posted 19 August 2008 Posted 19 August 2008 Isn't it about time you did me a favour? What'd you got in mind? Nothing kinky please.
Daggers Posted 19 August 2008 Posted 19 August 2008 CHELTENHAM BUS SERVICE Dayrider ticket £2.80 Forecourt of train station to ground Bus D (marked up either Centre/Bishops Cleave or Clarence Street) change in the town centre onto Bus A Ground to forecourt of train station Err...the opposite to the way you got there! Bus A - change in the town centre - Bus D - Train station Buses run every ten minutes so this should be a reasonably quick and easy way of getting to and from the ground. If you are one of those people who demand discounts on everything you buy then maybe you'll need to contact Stagecoach yourself: 01242 544120
