Millwall kick off change

OS.

Leicester City's League One match against Millwall at the Walkers Stadium on Saturday, September 13 will now kick-off at 1pm.

The kick-off has been brought forward by two hours to avoid a clash with Leicester Tigers, who are at home against London Irish on the same afternoon.

Police presence for this one will be the biggest we've seen in a while I reckon.

Means I have to get up 2 hours early. Livid.

It will actually be a proper Morrisons breakfast though!

Thats actually laughable. I'd say alot of people in the public know Leicester & Millwall have reputations for causing trouble, trying to cover it up with a Rugby game is actually pathetic.

The rugby might well be a reason for it to be considered worthy of a move in a "we'll need a few guys more for this one... what do you mean the reserve-team coppers are covering the rugby at that time?" kind of way.

Still, even if its not, at least they've put a positive spin on things rather than just going "FOOTBALL FANS AREN'T PEOPLE, THEY'RE CRABS", a la Barry Fry.

So basically the police force of Leicestershire are unable to police 40000 fans at the same time

It's pathetic! Greater Manchester force have to police double that every other week.

The population of Greater Manchester is over two and a half times that of Leicestershire, I'm guessing they have a few more policemen.

I'd be surprised if they bring more than 500 fans as well.

Especially with this kick off change. They never have any away support anyway.
