Durnerz Posted 12 August 2008 Posted 12 August 2008 Nothing will happen at this match, Millwall never bring many at all, even less now since their phsyco's were banned 4-5 years ago on the I.D card system, there may be a minor Chav scuffle but just be sure to avoid McDonalds
iancognito Posted 12 August 2008 Posted 12 August 2008 They aren't worried about Millwall FANS who will go to the game intent on watching the match, it's the ones who will come in a coachload without tickets seeing how many Leicester boys they can kick seven shades out of on a sunny Saturday afternoon. The rugby thing is garbage, Tigers and City kicked off at the same time on five or six occasions last season and many more before that. A 'grade b' rugby match for Tigers and a third division football match for City isn't policeable? Bunch of arse, they had double the number of people in town for the caribbean carnival last weekend and managed that without fuss.
Daggers Posted 13 August 2008 Posted 13 August 2008 Bastard wankchops! This gives me half to 3/4's of an hour in the sodding pub. Boy are Milwall going to pay for this: I plan on singing in a very acerbic manner. Pah!
Corky Posted 13 August 2008 Posted 13 August 2008 Lovely. Now I'll probably have to get up at 3am (due to enginerring works and bus replacement most likely). Not impressed P.S. Maybe 3am was exaggerating a bit

Ultra Posted 13 August 2008 Posted 13 August 2008 I'd be surprised if they bring more than 500 fans as well. Me too, but half of what they do bring will probably be up for a ruck, if not at the ground then some unfortunate pub somewhere in the city. They seem proud to live up (down?) to their reputation.
ASH17LCFC Posted 13 August 2008 Posted 13 August 2008 This is gonna turn ugly, What with Millwall huge following of 300 and our massive bad rep. I might just pass on this one.
Austin Posted 13 August 2008 Posted 13 August 2008 Potential to kick off this .. Reckon it'll be fine tho, Bunch of chavwhores anyway the lot of them .. "YOUR NOT SCARY ANYMORE!!" anyone?

Corky Posted 13 August 2008 Posted 13 August 2008 If we lose do you reckon Nigel will use the Micky Adams excuse "it was too early"?
Austin Posted 13 August 2008 Posted 13 August 2008 But think of the extra drinking time after the game. I like this idea very much
Guest Posted 13 August 2008 Posted 13 August 2008 We'd better not lose, not if I am going to be nearer to sobriety than drunken stupour.
Corky Posted 13 August 2008 Posted 13 August 2008 We'd better not lose, not if I am going to be nearer to sobriety than drunken stupour. We're going to be unbeaten this season Lise
syston_fox Posted 13 August 2008 Posted 13 August 2008 We're going to be unbeaten this season Lise One step at a time! I'm happy just to be unbeaten this week! Next step: Unbeaten against Stockport!
Guest Posted 13 August 2008 Posted 13 August 2008 We're going to be unbeaten this season Lise I like you. One step at a time! I'm happy just to be unbeaten this week! Next step: Unbeaten against Stockport! Bloody pessimists.
Corky Posted 13 August 2008 Posted 13 August 2008 One step at a time! I'm happy just to be unbeaten this week! Next step: Unbeaten against Stockport! Drop the negativity. We will go through this season unbeaten. Be positive, have a party, we've won two in a row!! I could get used to this winning regularly business
MC Prussian Posted 14 August 2008 Posted 14 August 2008 Thats actually laughable. I'd say alot of people in the public know Leicester & Millwall have reputations for causing trouble, trying to cover it up with a Rugby game is actually pathetic. For some reason, I can't really believe us having such a bad rep when it comes to hooligans - apart from the overhyped "Baby Squad & Co." and the young L1/K1 knobheads trying to stir up trouble at home games, I thought it to be a minor threat (if at all). Or maybe I'm simply too far away to recognize it. Doesn't it all boil down to lazy, unfounded and/or sensational journalism? And hasn't it gotten better with Millwall, as well?

We don't have a reputation for being violent. The Baby Squad died out years ago, there is a much more relaxed feel about matchdays both home and away.
Basingstoke Fox Posted 14 August 2008 Posted 14 August 2008 Be thankful, I'm coming from Reading. You go up to all the games from Reading? Thats mad!
Alexikokopops Posted 14 August 2008 Posted 14 August 2008 You go up to all the games from Reading? Thats mad! Yes. Yes it is. My girlfriend goes to Warwick Uni in Coventry so I can stay with her during term time. Two birds, one stone, job done.
Dr The Singh Posted 14 August 2008 Posted 14 August 2008 Yes. Yes it is. My girlfriend goes to Warwick Uni in Coventry so I can stay with her during term time. Two birds, one stone, job done. Who's the other bird, is she fit, does she do crack???

This is what i precisely do not like about some of our so-called fans, they deride the efforts and support of L1. There is nothing wrong with the fans in L1 and without the support they give the atmosphere would be far worse. We are not "knobheads". It is precisely because of such misguided beliefs that we have a reputation because it is based on a mixture of exaggeration and pure myth. The threat lies with us fans who brand a section of our support hooligans who are seen to try and stir up trouble!
Alexikokopops Posted 14 August 2008 Posted 14 August 2008 Oh right fair enough, take it you get the Cross Country to Cov then. How do you get there from Cov? It's cheaper to drive then get the train. I used to have to get the train from Cov to Leicester, absolute nightmare. Changed at Nuneaton, I think I've spent most of my life waiting on that bloody station.
