City shorts odder

Leicester City are past masters of making a nonsense of bookmaker's odds when it comes to challenging for a title.

However, such has been the impression created by their start so far that their odds have shotened still further after the opening three fixtures, including the one in the cup.

Mark Jarvis now has the League One title odds: 11-4 Leeds, 4-1 City, 10-1 Peterborough, Carlisle, 12-1 MK Dons, 16-1 Southend, Oldham.

Not bad for a team which traditionally seems to start badly but much more a compliment to Pearson for his work so far in changing the emphasis of our from dour defence to fairly committed attack.

What's pleased me most is that there's been no swaggering around by the team. They've fixed their minds on the task and their determination to win back possession really quickly has been a feaure. If that continues no-one will get an easy ride and our next big task will be to break down what may prove to be increasingly packed defences.

I have some Dollar on 14-1 Leicester 1st and Leeds 2nd. I feel it's as safe a bet as the 4-1 for Leicester to win the league, because let's be honest - if Leicester win the league there's only one position Leeds are going to finish.

Im guessing i'm the only one who thought this was something to do with the City kit..

No, I thought that too. No odder than our resident spongebob squarepants on the top of the kit :D

I did tell everyone to get their money on us before the season started when we were 5-1

The point I made was that the other contenders had problems.

M.K lost their manager and some players.

Peterborough would take a season to ajust.

Leeds were shite.

I have a £10 double Leicester Reading and a £10 double Leicester Birmingham

The only team I can see challenging us this season is Carlise.
