The fact that he has a good chance of being elected is a disgrace.

Raping a woman is like forcefeeding her a chocolate bar!?!?!?! What a load of bollox! Women initiate domestic violence? Jesus fook - this guy lives on another planet.

Someone just shoot him (if you elect me then he'll be in the first wave of purges  )

He doesn't really have a good chance of being elected, because that article was written in April 2008 about his chances of winning a seat at the London Assembley in May 2008. He was also second in the list of candidates for the BNP, so to say he had a "good chance" is stretching it a bit. He was, in fact, removed as a candidate because of these comments.

Woman who conned grandmother and fiance jailed

A serial conwoman who cheated her grandmother and fiance out of £150,000 has been jailed for three years.

Emma Charlton, from Newcastle, used her victims' chequebooks to buy goods and also pretended she had terminal cancer to obtain the services of a carer.

She admitted 19 fraud and two theft charges at Newcastle Crown Court.

The 25-year-old, formerly known as Emma Golightly, had been jailed in 2007 for conning men she met through lonely-hearts adverts out of £250,000.

In the most recent offences, she used her grandmother's chequebook to obtain goods worth £126,000, magistrates were told at an earlier hearing.

She also made an online loan application in her fiance's name for £8,000, and bought £28,000 of goods with his chequebook.

Personality disorder

Some of the money was spent on organising a charity fashion show at the Hilton Hotel in Gateshead, which never took place, while she used £10,000 for a wedding booking, and gave friends £50,000 for a house deposit.

In addition to the fraud and theft charges, Charlton, of Meadowfield Gardens, in Walkerville, admitted falsely claiming she had terminal cancer.

During sentencing, Judge Guy Whitburn described Charlton as "wicked", but accepted that she suffers from a personality disorder.

She was first exposed as a conwoman in 2007 when she was jailed for two years after admitting theft and obtaining property by deception.

The court heard she met her victims while claiming to be a wealthy businesswoman, seduced them and then stole their cash, spending the money on exotic holidays, chauffeur-driven cars and expensive hotels and restaurant meals.

Rape is simply sex. Women enjoy sex, so rape cannot be such a terrible physical ordeal.

What a cretin. It's hard to believe that anyone could be more wrong.

In my experience, no woman I have ever had sex with has enjoyed it.

Justice or cash? It's a tricky dilemma for sure. Any revulsion felt by this couple was outweighed by their base desire to GRAB MONEY. Who cares if he remains at large? We've got £18,000 - woo hoo!

fooking scum

Not all Catholics... just this one.

anyone else see the hypocrisy in this? Its ok for priests to abuse kids but gay couples arent fit to bring up kids??

I'd go one further and say the Catholic Church as an organisation is a fvcking joke especially here in Ireland. They should take them out and shoot them all. What's wosre is that some parishoners are trying to defend the Church and their actions in covering this up.

When the church found out that a priest was abusing children they moved them to another parish and then kept moving them if it continued.

A youth beat a 67-year-old man with a wooden post and robbed him of his tobacco and loose change.

Police released the photograph of the unnamed man's injuries as they launched an appeal for witnesses to the robbery in the Saffron Lane area of Leicester.

Officers said the victim was pounced upon outside his home in Meadow Gardens in the early hours of Sunday.

The pensioner, who is still in hospital, has told officers he was attacked when he stepped out of his front door at 2.30am to bring his dog in.

A man approached him and pushed him back into the house and then beat him with a wooden post.

The attacker then took his victim's tobacco and a small amount of money and ran away.

The victim is being treated at Leicester Royal Infirmary for injuries to his face, head and arms.

Three men, one aged 17 and two 21-year-olds, have been arrested and released on bail as officers continue their investigation.

Detective Constable Joanna Brown said: "The assault left the victim with some nasty injuries and it is very sad to think that this man was targeted even know though he is elderly, vulnerable and almost defenceless against a young man with a weapon."

http://www.thisisleicestershire.co.uk/news/baby-girl-left-brain-damaged-father/article-2046757-detail/article.html

A seven-week-old baby has suffered permanent brain damage at the hands of her father, a jury heard.

The 21-year-old is accused of deliberately injuring his daughter, fracturing her skull after allegedly forcing her against a hard surface.

Leicester Crown Court heard yesterday that the alleged attack happened four days after social services allowed the man to return to the family home – following an earlier alleged assault on the child.

It was alleged the baby's mother ignored an undertaking with the authorities not to leave the man alone with the infant.

She was socialising at a neighbour's when the alleged incident happened at their flat, in the Oadby and Wigston area.

David Herbert, prosecuting, said the baby – who also suffered a fractured rib – has "no realistic expectation of any sort of recovery".

He said: "She continues to suffer from persistent seizures and spasms and is fed by tube. She's unresponsive to her surroundings."

The dad denies grievous bodily harm, with intent, on February 21 last year.

He initially claimed the youngster suffered a fit, due to an existing brain injury.

Mr Herbert said the child was being monitored for that brain defect, but it had no bearing on the alleged offences.

The father later claimed the baby rolled off a bed and then later still said he accidentally dropped her.

He also denies an earlier offence of causing actual bodily harm – a bruised face and ear – when she was two or three-weeks-old, between January 20 and 23, last year. The man – who cannot be identified – told hospital staff the bruising was innocently caused when winding the child, which was rejected as implausible.

The baby was then placed on a child protection register.

A child welfare team concluded the father, who has previous domestic violence convictions and suffers from anger management problems, should move out of the flat.

He was on medication for a personality disorder with rapid mood swings.

Mr Herbert said: "He agreed he'd move out until further agreement with social services."

He went to stay with relatives.

The baby's maternal grandparents were told to supervise her care at all times, including when the defendant was allowed home, on February 17.

Mr Herbert said: "As far as the social services are concerned, rightly or wrongly, he was allowed back.

"I'm not trying to express an opinion in this case, or if they might have done anything better, in hindsight.

"The issue here is whether or not he harmed the baby.

"While he was alone with the baby, for 30 minutes to an hour, she received very serious skull and brain injuries, as well as to the area of her chest.

"The prosecution says this was no accident. It required forceful impact.

"The fractured rib is a classic case of a squeezing injury. She was grasped forcefully around the chest.

"She was banged against a hard object, whether it be a wall, a bed or table – or hit her head against a hard object.

"The defendant was the only one in the flat with her when she was injured."

The baby's head was swollen and she was screaming in pain.

The jury was told the mother has admitted child cruelty, by negligently leaving the baby alone with the defendant.

The trial continues.

Punching someone who's trying to mediate is a pretty cvnty act in itself, whether or not they die as a result, and the Facebook thing provides evidence of the level of intellect we seem to be dealing with here.

This one struck a chord with me as I found myself in pretty much the same situation in Nottingham a couple of years ago, when a 'gentleman' threatened to 'knock me out' when I suggested it might be helpful for him to stop threatening a woman, who hadn't really done anything. He was being such a cockend I nearly hit him myself, thus finding myself dragged into the world of shit that these people inhabit
