Absolute *** of our time Pt.MXXVI

Feel sorry for her - one for being associated with him, and two, because the kid is his son :(.

Hate to imagine what he might have done if it wasn't!

As for the sentence it's hardly harsh. I could have thought up something far more appropriate.

His pregnant wife gets no great sympathy from me. She chose him and would have known exactly what he was like.

But money, fame and a presumably big cock (judging by his arrogance) are powerful aphrodisiacs. And not necessarily in that order.

Women so often kid themselves that their partner will change. Oh mum, sob, I didn't know he was a druggie, alchy, wife beater or serial sex addict ...he just changed.

I suppose there are exceptions but people don't usually "just change" as my own sister found out on several occasions.

So often women just don't choose to ask, look or to see what their partners are really like nor do they believe it or accept it even if they're warned.

And those who recognise and accept their guy's "faults" often choose and welcome life in the risk lane because it brightens their outwardly more conventional or mundane lives - at least until those risks bite them harder than they'd bargained for.

For King though, it could be a turning point in his life. With Tony Blair becoming a Middle East peace envoy, I could well see King might being invited to train as a domestic violence councillor and ending up fronting some international advertisement campaign to tackle the problem.

Welcome to the amazing black and white world of Thracian.

Err, with all the black taken out and then sent back to where it came from.

Sums up the piece of shit that the Express is.

I don't suppose it will ever be a patch on the Morning Star, New Statesman or Socialist News but if the Express is irritating the social engineers and hypocritcal stealth politicians of the Left as much as it irritates you then I must buy a copy cos it can't be that bad!

You've become a parody of yourself 'Thracian'. You harp on about cherishing each day ever since your wife almost died and yet you spend your life typing rants, consumed with hate and envy. You bore on about Labour, race, immigration, Labour, homosexuality, Dodds, Labour, women, Labour et al with all the wit of ibosuk. Incessantly. You have become tediously dull.

The above post is just typical of you now; you're like the dog my mother-in-law used to have - constantly dry-humping legs in an effort to get attention. You ought to read you sig sometime, there's advise there you ought to be following: "Each day has but one chance to be special. Don't waste it!"

a) These incidents are (thankfully) rare, hence why they are reported.

b) Stable parents, stable family, stability, they're so, so vital to young people. I know there are some right 'ones' who may have all of this and still be horrific, but stability is really important.

a) Sadly, they are not nearly so rare as they should be.

b) :crylaugh::crylaugh: The Left will doubtless shoot that one down what with their masters having made an art form of discrediting so many things that represent stability in our land.

Thankfully I've had a perfectly productive day in what has been a refreshingly positive period but you're right in many ways and I've given much thought to that very fact lately.

I confess to being so passionate about the contempt with which the Left seems to hold our country and our people that I've wasted far too much time trying to drive the opposing message home and in the face of so much open or implied opposition. But, as I've said elsewhere, people don't usually change so why bother trying to persuade them? :D

And there is absolutely no doubting that this place has become something of an obsession, a lifelong fault of mine that has always resulted in me giving maximum commitment to whatever focused my attention at the time, often to the exclusion to many other worthwhile things.

Well you might be surprised to learn that I intend to act on your remarks by giving far less time to Foxestalk from now on.

So there you are, you're words will not go unheeded. I not disappearing completely or somehow taking the hump but will simply try to treat this place as a venue for occasional recreation, something I've intended to do for som time.

Off topic but why did you reset your post count?

I hate to say this Thrac but there's a lot of truth in what Daggers says. I'm quite sympathetic to a lot of what you say but you have had a habit lately of turning every thread into an anti-labour rant.

No one is saying don't post, just keep the political posts to the political threads.

****tards with axes to grind, resulting in offensive or threatening PMs. None of them ever arrive in the pub to vocalise and follow through, but it is still a tad unpleasant. A post count really isn't important but to some it appears to make up for their lack of penis.

Oh dear. Has it worked?

I've never had an offensive or threatening PM. Feel a bit left out.

I must be either spectacularly inoffensive or inconsequential, one of the two.

Well, this is the right thread to talk about Gordon though isn't it....
