Daggers Posted 21 August 2008 Posted 21 August 2008 I've always rated Powell quite highly, he'd be a good addition to this squad, bringing some experience.Pearson isn't the sort of manager to let him relax and just take the money either. I simply don't see him having the pace required to play left-back. Maybe I'm totally wrong on this but I am disappointed we aren't getting someone younger in. Experience is one thing but this seems plain daft.

How much more experience do you want? Perhaps we should ask if Age Concern have a full-back on their books.
The Reverend Posted 21 August 2008 Posted 21 August 2008 Until he sheds at least a stone or two, he will never make a good goalkeeper. He needs to take a tip off Paul Robinson...
TrickyTrev Posted 21 August 2008 Posted 21 August 2008 Suprised Luton signed after how awful he was there during the pre-season friendly. He's far too fat to be a professional sportsmen, disgraceful that he has allowed himself to get in that sort of shape.
Corky Posted 21 August 2008 Posted 21 August 2008 How much more experience do you want? Perhaps we should ask if Age Concern have a full-back on their books. I don't know, but he's a far better prospect, even at 52 (I don't know his age) than Alan Sheehan *runs off*
Miquel The Work Geordie Posted 21 August 2008 Posted 21 August 2008 Good move for all parties concerned I think. Logan has zero chance of first team action here, so it's better for him personally and it's better for us not having a spare part around the place. Not that he'll get a tonne of first team action at Luton though, unless Dean Brill is injued (?).
Stevosevic Posted 21 August 2008 Posted 21 August 2008 If this lad was serious about becoming number one for us, surely he would make the effort to lose weight? He has the perfect job to do this, expert advice, trains everyday, has large amount of time off. Hope he doesn't come back, he's poor.
Glenfield Fox Posted 21 August 2008 Posted 21 August 2008 How much more experience do you want? Perhaps we should ask if Age Concern have a full-back on their books. Kenny Sansome is still turning out for England Legends. Huge beer gut though. Probably a bit young for us.

renards Posted 24 August 2008 Posted 24 August 2008 Hahaaa, looks even weirder than before What's that got to do with his ability as a keeper? Peter Schemical was hardly conventional looking
Milky Posted 26 August 2008 Posted 26 August 2008 Let in 5 goals today against reading. Let's be fair, he had no chance with any of them.
