The French ship's mascot was a monkey dressed in sailor's clothing and when it washed up alive in Hartlepool, the town's dim-witted residents supposedly had it hanged for treason. Or something similar...

Yet if it was offered i'm sure you would take a run in the Carling Cup or F.A Cup as alot of other fans would. Is it because it the Johnstone's Paint Trophy? I think so. TBH I want us to win it, As long as it doesn't effect the league but personally I don't think it will.
