Tilley Posted 6 September 2008 Posted 6 September 2008 Northern Section, Tranmere Rovers vs Crewe Alexandra. Rochdale vs Carlisle United. Chester City vs Morecambe. Bury vs Stockport County. S****horpe United vs Grimsby Town. Rotherham United vs Leeds United. Darlington vs Huddersfield Town. Leicester City vs Lincoln.
Tilley Posted 6 September 2008 Posted 6 September 2008 Rather have Lincoln at home that have to travel to Darlington or Carlisle on a Tuesday night.
Father Ted Posted 6 September 2008 Posted 6 September 2008 YES! Lincoln! Shame it's not away! Still hopefully will be going... I wonder if this could be part of the 'exclusive monthly offer to ST holders' ?
Guest Posted 6 September 2008 Posted 6 September 2008 Why can't they play on a Wednesday night, and make my life easy?
Tilley Posted 6 September 2008 Posted 6 September 2008 YES! Lincoln! Shame it's not away! Still hopefully will be going... I wonder if this could be part of the 'exclusive monthly offer to ST holders' ? Should be, in my opinion. Or couplea quid for an adult, & for every paying adult you get a kid free Else we'll get a Stockport turnout.
JakeShingler Posted 6 September 2008 Posted 6 September 2008 Should be, in my opinion. Or couplea quid for an adult, & for every paying adult you get a kid free Else we'll get a Stockport turnout. That was poor.

Asha Posted 6 September 2008 Posted 6 September 2008 Should be, in my opinion. Or couplea quid for an adult, & for every paying adult you get a kid free Else we'll get a Stockport turnout. Stockport home was a decent turnout considering it was £10 each and it was the first round of the Carling Cup, against Stockport.
Tilley Posted 6 September 2008 Posted 6 September 2008 Have we not been through this before? Yes, quite a few times.
JakeShingler Posted 6 September 2008 Posted 6 September 2008 Stockport home was a decent turnout considering it was £10 each and it was the first round of the Carling Cup, against Stockport. I noticed there were mainly Under 16s there.
Asha Posted 6 September 2008 Posted 6 September 2008 I noticed there were mainly Under 16s there. I guess so, but that shows then surely that the Adult tickets were too high? Then again, couple of years ago when we had Macclesfield in the first round, £5 for me, it was a similar turnout. And the Fulham FA Cup game that year only had about 15000. Stockport was never going to be a bumper crowd, to be expected really.

But be fair how many can you expect against Lincoln on a Tuesday Night

Jonezy Posted 6 September 2008 Posted 6 September 2008 Nice draw. We should have a very decent chance of progressing further in this cup. Is it me or does the Northern section look stronger than the Southern one?
Alexikokopops Posted 6 September 2008 Posted 6 September 2008 Lincoln at home.. Sweet. Still probably wont be able to make it.
