Floating Fox Posted 26 September 2008 Posted 26 September 2008 Paul...What we doing for this one? Theres a beer fest in Huddersfeild. So I'm thinking lots of beers! Stay yours? Go out in sheffield before we get the train? I think it'd minimise the pain of that woefull train if we're waaaasted

Guest Posted 26 September 2008 Posted 26 September 2008 If anyone is interested, the Etap in Leeds has rooms available for £35, sleeping up to 3 people. A walk up return ticket from Leeds to Huddersfield is £4.20 and the train journey is around 20 minutes. I have taken this option.
SamL Posted 26 September 2008 Posted 26 September 2008 This looks like it could be another sell out. We've sold approximately 1220 tickets for this fixture. Not bad.

SamL Posted 26 September 2008 Posted 26 September 2008 I'm sure we'll sell out if we win on Saturday That's what I was thinking. A lot of people who work 9-5 in the week will be able to buy their tickets tomorrow, so I'm thinking quite a few will be sold tomorrow. Will be nice to see another sell out.
Floating Fox Posted 26 September 2008 Posted 26 September 2008 I need to be involved in these plans... Get involved then :mrgeen: I will warn you its only Ales & cider at the festival though. I'll confirm v soon as to what we're doing mate
Tommeh Posted 26 September 2008 Posted 26 September 2008 Bollocks, bang goes my pay on the gate option. Why are we such a massive club that we sell out all these games! Still have no idea of how to get to this, new car in time is 50/50 and I have a huge dislike of trains after Cheltenham, £50 thanks then.

Guest Posted 26 September 2008 Posted 26 September 2008 Can i kip at the end of your bed? Etaps have an interesting double bed bottom, single bunk bed design to them. To be honest, I don't think Carl would be too keen on the idea. Besides, he snores. Especially after a few drinks.....
Austin Posted 26 September 2008 Posted 26 September 2008 ill be attending Looking forward to this one!
Daggers Posted 26 September 2008 Posted 26 September 2008 To be honest, I don't think Carl would be too keen on the idea. Besides, he snores. Especially after a few misplaced passes during away games..... He needs to stay well away from the beer festival then
Guest Posted 26 September 2008 Posted 26 September 2008 He needs to stay well away from the beer festival then I have been trying my best.....
Daggers Posted 26 September 2008 Posted 26 September 2008 I have been trying my best..... Shut up! You can go to your young peoples bars serving fizzy things well after the matches. Young people, like very drunk people, have little to say of importance [ref:SUAS in LCFC forum]. Downside: Likelihood of dull, pompous, perpetually girlfriendless (and lives with his Mum even though he's losing his hair) FT member being present at beer festival is high. I can trade off the later for a decent skinful of something nasty.

Daggers Posted 26 September 2008 Posted 26 September 2008 Bad day? No - like all others recently - a very good day. It - like all other posts - is tongue in cheek. I fear - like most threads - I am misunderstood.

Corky Posted 26 September 2008 Posted 26 September 2008 Just checking. All these early mornings at your age can take their toll. And also his return to Tuesday night 606
Daggers Posted 26 September 2008 Posted 26 September 2008 Just checking. All these early mornings at your age can take their toll. You are treading thin ice, Madam. Maybe I shall urge Carl to return to a better pub than the Bear seeing as I have no family to rush back to this weekend.

Carl says he would rather go to the Swan or Criterion, or even the Globe. It's extraneous forces, apparently. If you have no rush to get back, do you want to check into Hotel Hunt?

I do have a dog...I'd bring him along but I fear that the club would prefer him there to me (providing he has a valid credit card and a liking for goal music). Which he doesn't.

Not to worry. Replacing the crowd with household pets would be interesting.....
Tilley Posted 27 September 2008 Posted 27 September 2008 Not feeling my Row K allocation, whatsoever.
