The Reverend Posted 3 October 2008 Posted 3 October 2008 Does anybody know how strict they are with stoodent tickets? I cant afford an adult one!
SamL Posted 3 October 2008 Posted 3 October 2008 Does anybody know how strict they are with stoodent tickets? I cant afford an adult one! My mate tried to purchase a student ticket at the Leicester Ticket Office, but wasn't allowed to buy one because he didn't have any student ID with him. Judging by that, I'm guessing they'll be pretty strict in asking for student ID at the turnstiles. In saying this, I've bought student tickets for the three away games I've been to this season and haven't been required to show any ID. I'm not sure whether Huddersfield will be any different.
Floating Fox Posted 3 October 2008 Posted 3 October 2008 I didn't have to show any ID at the ticket office and have 2 student tickets! I also had the evil bitch, but she was in a good mood for once and seemed pretty chatty

eye666 Posted 3 October 2008 Posted 3 October 2008 Anyone need a lift from Stockport/Manchester area? Going on my lonesome and would be grateful of company. Let me know. p.s. Just noticed this post makes me sound like a loser. Oh well!

Just noticed this post makes me sound like a loser. Oh well! Not really. A lot of people travel by themselves to games, there's no shame in it. Although, it's obviously a lot more fun if you have someone to go with.

Scowy managed to get mine and his student tickets with just the one student card (as I wasn't with him at the time) it may just be the luck of the draw.

Ours gets into sheff at 1055, so I'd say it leaves at around half 9? I Should check really You going for beers in sheff?
mancunianfox Posted 3 October 2008 Posted 3 October 2008 Never bought a student ticket until last week. Bought it on the phone...do the ticket office usually stamp STUDENT in big massive red letters on the ticket? I'm getting worried that I might get checked now
Floating Fox Posted 3 October 2008 Posted 3 October 2008 Never bought a student ticket until last week. Bought it on the phone...do the ticket office usually stamp STUDENT in big massive red letters on the ticket? I'm getting worried that I might get checked now Yeah all the time
Joe. Posted 3 October 2008 Posted 3 October 2008 Never bought a student ticket until last week. Bought it on the phone...do the ticket office usually stamp STUDENT in big massive red letters on the ticket? I'm getting worried that I might get checked now Sometimes they do, not all the time. I ordered two student tickets for this game, one was stamped and the other wasn't. Depends whether you want to take the risk - worst you'll do is have to upgrade the ticket.
Daggers Posted 3 October 2008 Posted 3 October 2008 Anybody fancy popping to Sutton to get a ticket - despite holding out hopes that I'd be able to go, I can't.
chris164 Posted 3 October 2008 Posted 3 October 2008 Does anybody know how strict they are with stoodent tickets? I cant afford an adult one! My mates have never been asked for student ID when they come to home (huddersfield) games. In fact, I know an old looking 22 year old who still manages to get in as an U16 Might be a little more tough on the away fans but I guess as you're bringing quite a few they won't be arsed checking.
Benjani Posted 3 October 2008 Posted 3 October 2008 Anyone know the chances there will be tickets still available when i get to the huddersfield ground tomorrow at about 2pm?
