The People's Hero Posted 11 September 2008 Posted 11 September 2008 There is problem a forum for this but I genuinely don't care! How many of you lot are planning to head to this? I'm considering the jaunt down there after work. Largely depends on how many people I know are going as to be honest, it's more about meeting up with people rather than the football for me, these days.
The People's Hero Posted 11 September 2008 Author Posted 11 September 2008 Bet it won't be the first time you've been to Brighton. Wahey! OLE!
The Reverend Posted 11 September 2008 Posted 11 September 2008 Bet it won't be the first time you've been to Brighton.Wahey! OLE! Damn.
James. Posted 11 September 2008 Posted 11 September 2008 The Withdean is a funny ground. I'm all over this.
Bellend Sebastian Posted 11 September 2008 Posted 11 September 2008 I don't think so, but I'm going to Leyton Orient if a ticket's been obtained for me. Wrong thread ahoy!
Alexikokopops Posted 11 September 2008 Posted 11 September 2008 Fez and myself will be there, before we scoot off to Paris for a romantic three day holiday PSG vs Toulouse
Tabou Posted 11 September 2008 Posted 11 September 2008 Bet it won't be the first time you've been to Brighton.Wahey! OLE! I've only been once, in February. Spent a mint down in'The Lanes', saw the alleyway where Phil Daniels tubbed Leslie Ash, and proceeded to go on the lash for the next 14 hours. I don't know if it was a "Wood for the trees" scenario, but it didn't appear to be very bent at all? Infact, it was just all kids from 14-20 ish?!? Still.
The People's Hero Posted 11 September 2008 Author Posted 11 September 2008 I don't know. I've been shopping there once or twice. Lanes is nice. My basic experience was nowhere to park, everyone was trendier than me, everything was expensive. Oh and it rained.

syston_fox Posted 11 September 2008 Posted 11 September 2008 Yup! Bookied three days off work so planning on spending a night there and a night in Bournemouth.
The People's Hero Posted 11 September 2008 Author Posted 11 September 2008 I'm going to Paris soon, I fear this is how I will feel. You should have just come to Maidstone, it's only about 2 miles from Paris, and 8 times as dirty.
Tabou Posted 11 September 2008 Posted 11 September 2008 You should have just come to Maidstone, it's only about 2 miles from Paris, and 8 times as dirty. Yeh but where is your Iffel Tower? And I want to go to Le Luvre. Only so I can say "ooooh the di vinci code was here!"
The People's Hero Posted 11 September 2008 Author Posted 11 September 2008 Agreed, the should rename them 'Ifell' and 'Luvre' respectively to make it easier for English people. They might have the Eiffel Tower, but do they have the Chequers Centre, the Floral Sheep, the Fremlins Walk? No. No, they don't.

There is a market every tuesday morning! As for the rest... no. Plenty of sovereign wearing knuckle dragging pikeys about though?
The People's Hero Posted 12 September 2008 Author Posted 12 September 2008 Can I take a roll call please? Does anyone fancy hitting Maidstone for about 5 pm and giving me a lift so I can drink myself silly?

Me and Fez will be taking the train from London town sometime in the afternoon so I'm afraid I can't give you a lift. If plans change though I'll see what I can do. 1. TPH 2. 'kokopizzle 3. Fez
