lcfcsam1 Posted 11 September 2008 Posted 11 September 2008 I knew milwall fans were a bit backwards but some of these 2-0 milwall scores are ludicrous haha milwall forum
Tilley Posted 11 September 2008 Posted 11 September 2008 Ha. 2 goals against our backline, they are dreaming, I'm afraid.
dandannieldanok Posted 11 September 2008 Posted 11 September 2008 They're not a bad side you know, 7th in the league. Lewis Grabban will be one to watch up front for them.

MC Prussian Posted 11 September 2008 Posted 11 September 2008 No way will they score past us. Dangerous statement. Tranmere did.
DB11 Posted 11 September 2008 Posted 11 September 2008 Dangerous statement.Tranmere did. But two? That is wishful thinking!
JakeShingler Posted 11 September 2008 Posted 11 September 2008 Dangerous statement. Tranmere did. Im a dangerous person. Lets see this time Saturday.
leicester ghost Posted 11 September 2008 Posted 11 September 2008 if millwall give us a game 3-1 leicester. if millwall buckle, and we pick up where we left off, 4 or 5 -0 leicester.
morris1234 Posted 11 September 2008 Posted 11 September 2008 5-0 to us. easy. they will show us too much respect (not complaining though) just like franchise did and we will put away our chances. howard 2, fryatt 1, gilbert 1, adams 1.
Thracian Posted 11 September 2008 Posted 11 September 2008 Under our recent managers the Wall might well have won 2-0 and the Dustbins, a more experienced team altogether, might well have hit three. But since Millwall have drawn one and lost one away from home so far and have conceded four goals in those two games I wouldn't be over optimistic about them stopping us scoring. And why, with us having conceded one goal in four League matches so far, we should suddenly spring a leak and concede two at home I don't know either. It's possible of course but a combination of the two for a 2-0 away win looks about as likely as Rab Douglas returning as the City goalkeeper. I'll go for a 3-1 win. Gradel to get his first goal for the seniors with King and Howard the other scorers.
Scow Posted 11 September 2008 Posted 11 September 2008 I hate this arrogant attitude - so what if they think they can score 2 or 3 against us? Someone will do it to us this season, home or away. We've had a good start, but let's not get carried away, eh?
Asha Posted 11 September 2008 Posted 11 September 2008 I hate this arrogant attitude - so what if they think they can score 2 or 3 against us? Someone will do it to us this season, home or away. We've had a good start, but let's not get carried away, eh? I second this.
Thracian Posted 11 September 2008 Posted 11 September 2008 I hate this arrogant attitude - so what if they think they can score 2 or 3 against us? Someone will do it to us this season, home or away. We've had a good start, but let's not get carried away, eh? If you feel cautious, you'll doubtless put your money where you choose, but I don't want to start the day soaked in unnecessary negativity thanks ... however you want to label people. I've every faith in our current team winning and even more faith in them scoring so, while your prediction for the season is undoubtedly true, even inevitable based on the law of averages, I can't think of one logical reason why it should happen tomorrow. And there's a world of difference between confidence and arrogance. Not that it matters whether the fans are arrogant or not. What matters is the team and I don't think they've shown one shred of arrogance so far this season. Home or away they've come across as a fit, hard-working team determined to do their job. So for all your doubts, my £5 will go on City. And it would still go on City even if I knew in advance that Millwall would score two.
Webbo Posted 11 September 2008 Posted 11 September 2008 I must admit things are going so well that I'm starting to get nervous that it can't last. Always optimistic though, 3-0 to the City.
Ryanside Posted 11 September 2008 Posted 11 September 2008 I hate this arrogant attitude - so what if they think they can score 2 or 3 against us? Someone will do it to us this season, home or away. We've had a good start, but let's not get carried away, eh? And I hate to moaners on this forum who can't seem to get their head around a good thing, just becuase we will probably lose a game at some point doesnt mean that for every game we need to start with all the doom and gloom that over shadowed these forums last year. Enjoy the moment or just leave others to
Unabomber Posted 11 September 2008 Posted 11 September 2008 I hate this arrogant attitude - so what if they think they can score 2 or 3 against us? Someone will do it to us this season, home or away. We've had a good start, but let's not get carried away, eh? It's not so much arrogant, I think that it is good that for once some fans think we won't concede and will score a few goals. Milwall have been playing fairly well recently and had some good results, but I am pretty sure that we have been playing better. We are at home and not had a game for a while so I don't think people thinking we will win comfortably is wrong. It certainly beats people expecting to loose and play badly.
The Stig Posted 11 September 2008 Posted 11 September 2008 If your revved up for a game enough, you can give the opposition a damn good game, even if they are the better team. We proved that with recent cup preformances. This will be a tough game, but we will come thorugh it. 2-1.
leicester ghost Posted 11 September 2008 Posted 11 September 2008 thracian. i agree.well said. theres no point being negative,it'll spoil the enjoyment of watching/listening, when any blip arrives and it probably will,we need to be confident to be able to bounce back, being supremely confident is'nt the same as being arrogant.
Tilley Posted 11 September 2008 Posted 11 September 2008 If we concede against Millwall we should be very disappointed. & I believe we will keep a clean sheet & win, comfortably.
dilko2008 Posted 11 September 2008 Posted 11 September 2008 As with all games in the divison it will be hard but i think we will win!
