Floating Fox Posted 10 December 2008 Posted 10 December 2008 My blogs been updated from my trip to Villa park!
Bert Posted 18 February 2009 Posted 18 February 2009 Villa on channel 5, kicking off at 7 against CSKA Moscow.
lildave3 Posted 18 February 2009 Posted 18 February 2009 Villa on channel 5, kicking off at 7 against CSKA Moscow. Who are now managed by Zico, which means they won't be easy to play against. Plus, Villa have named a weakened side from what I can see.
CosbehFox Posted 18 February 2009 Posted 18 February 2009 CSKA will do them. CSKA will win the whole tournament.
dandannieldanok Posted 18 February 2009 Posted 18 February 2009 Although Villa have fought back well and created a few chances, I think tonight is the night where they'll be brought back down to earth, the silent fans at Villa Park sense it already. Vagner Love's goal was quality.
Darkzzz_ Posted 18 February 2009 Posted 18 February 2009 I think Vagner Love has been quality. His movement has caused the Villa defence problems. CSKA could well do a Zenit.
lavrentis Posted 18 February 2009 Posted 18 February 2009 I swear I just saw an AVG logo in the middle of the screen.
dandannieldanok Posted 18 February 2009 Posted 18 February 2009 Bad error of judgement from Akinfeev but good fight from Villa and they deserved to be at least 1-1, although I reckon Villa really needed to take a lead to protect rather than having to go chase the game. Still see CSKA progressing. I swear I just saw an AVG logo in the middle of the screen. I saw it too.
shen Posted 18 February 2009 Posted 18 February 2009 Just witnessed Aalborg being in full control against Deportivo, trouncing them 3-0. Stunned

Floating Fox Posted 19 February 2009 Posted 19 February 2009 Quite a few surprising results in there. Valencia held at Kiev St.Etienne win 3-1 away at Olympikos Metalist win away at Sampdoria! Aalborg thrash Deportivo at home Braga thrash Standard at home! As for the german teams: Hamburg made easy work of NEC (3-0 away win). Werder 1-1 with AC Milan at home. Not bad, they've already won at the San Siro this season too I think. Stuggart beat 2-1 away at Zenit. Not bad result, away goals n'all. Wolfsburg beat 2-0 at PSG. Don't care about them anyway. Was fez at this match?

CosbehFox Posted 20 February 2009 Posted 20 February 2009 Lech made a heroic comeback last night against Udinese to keep their hopes alive. Standard must be missing 'Dante'.
dandannieldanok Posted 24 February 2009 Posted 24 February 2009 Villa are as good as out Not sure I agree with O'Neill's thinking here, especially if they slump in the premier league regardless.
lildave3 Posted 24 February 2009 Posted 24 February 2009 As much as we all still love him, I don't like that one bit. It could really backfire if they don't finish in the top 4.
