5waller5 Posted 23 September 2008 Posted 23 September 2008 Half of the supporters were situated in the "right side" of the ground and the other half were situated in the "left side" of the ground.So as you may have seen in the video, we sing to the other side that we're sat on, then the other side does it back. I was right side. This is a great chant and was great entertainment as part of the barmy army at the ashes in Oz xmas 2006 ..... but one question .... the words then were; we're the right side etc... we're the left side etc... we're the middle etc .... then everyone stood up and pointed at the Ozzies to, "your the convicts, your the convicts, your the convicts over there!" What would be the last line if we sang it???? G

Its one of those things like "Shoes off if you love Leicester". Can be brilliant on occasions but as soon as it gets overused then it will become boring and pointless.

How annoying were them people next to us First half we had 4 men singing it all game, then 2nd half we had about 10 ten year olds singing it. Song ruined.

Of course, I love singing like the rest of you, but yeah, I agree, it did grow tiresome. Was tempting to do something and tell the group to stop, but I didn't like my chances with 1 against 5. In the end, they fooked off after 86 minutes and could somewhat enjoy the penos.
