JoeyB Posted 24 September 2008 Posted 24 September 2008 As if Kerra Gilbert wears an XL(not the company thats gone bust) shirt
Munzie Posted 24 September 2008 Posted 24 September 2008 hey guys i thought i would shot the link up for a signed shirt which is for a charity event i dont no the autographs it was just donated by a lad from the club. all autographs are nicely signed. thanks http://cgi.ebay.co.uk/ws/eBayISAPI.dll?Vie...em=250299563507 Other than Dean Windass, I can't think of any player who wears an extra large shirt!! Maybe I should have gone to Specsavers but from where I sit in the Kop, Kerra Gilbert looks like a size small - medium. If you claim this has been worn by 'Great Big Gilbert', don't expect the bidding to rocket!?! You say the autographs are 'nicely' signed. Were the players on their best behaviour and used their bestest handwriting?
Bert Posted 24 September 2008 Posted 24 September 2008 Was Gilbert on loan At Sunderland? If not, why would he donate a shirt to Sunderland?
billyfox1 Posted 25 September 2008 Posted 25 September 2008 how come you have won so many extra large shirts at charity events? and how come you haven't mentioned a certificate on any of your listings. also how has your 'signed england world cup shirt' been signed by players who haven't been in the same world cup squad
Munzie Posted 25 September 2008 Posted 25 September 2008 how come you have won so many extra large shirts at charity events? and how come you haven't mentioned a certificate on any of your listings I'm always sceptical about new ebayers. This one has only recently registared and not completed a single transaction yet. Caveat emptor!
billyfox1 Posted 25 September 2008 Posted 25 September 2008 I'm always sceptical about new ebayers. This one has only recently registared and not completed a single transaction yet.Caveat emptor! so am i especially when their listing quotes "We have long been a dealer of sports memorabilia" yet they haven't realised that a "100% genuine" signed england or france world cup shirt is worth more than 99p
kevinwpratt Posted 25 September 2008 Posted 25 September 2008 Its impressive how it is signed by Bruno Berner who has been with the club for less than a few weeks but the listing states "The Shirt Was Donated By The Club For A Charity Event, Which I Won The Charity Event And Was Framed Ever Since." So framed for all of a week then??
Munzie Posted 25 September 2008 Posted 25 September 2008 Its impressive how it is signed by Bruno Berner who has been with the club for less than a few weeks but the listing states"The Shirt Was Donated By The Club For A Charity Event, Which I Won The Charity Event And Was Framed Ever Since." So framed for all of a week then?? Looking at the other items he is selling, most if not all were won at a charity event(s), then given to him and only recently framed. All shirts seem to have a complete set of player signatures...not normally the case when looking for memorabillia. This only arouses my suspicions. But then again, I'm easily aroused!
AmericanScott Posted 25 September 2008 Posted 25 September 2008 I think he watches Real Hustle too much.
purpleronnie Posted 25 September 2008 Posted 25 September 2008 Has it got a certificate of authentication with it? Their not worth the paper their printed on.
Stevosevic Posted 25 September 2008 Posted 25 September 2008 As if Kerra Gilbert wears an XL(not the company thats gone bust) shirt Interesting you say that, when i went on a tour of Anfield, the bloke said all players there are given XL shirts, 2 short sleeved and 2 long sleeved, no choice.
JakeShingler Posted 25 September 2008 Posted 25 September 2008 Your not honestly pulling some one up on there spelling or grammar are you. No:S Just saying who it is signed by you plank.
