Tilley Posted 13 October 2008 Posted 13 October 2008 If anyone is driving If not, train it is, £31 all in all inc. match ticket.
SamL Posted 13 October 2008 Posted 13 October 2008 If they reach general sale (which they should....right?) then I'll be going. If any of you are lucky enough (ha) to live in Bristol, £8.50 return train direct to Swindon. Can't really say no. I'm quite up for a bit of terracing and all for this one as well (if its still there, I haven't been to Swindon since I was a wee child). There's no terracing. Tickets will easily reach general sale.
Bert Posted 13 October 2008 Posted 13 October 2008 There's no terracing. Tickets will easily reach general sale. You might as well just make this your forum.
Guest Posted 13 October 2008 Posted 13 October 2008 Wanted to go but the missus has demanded i go to some wedding in Bournemouth . In the words of others LIVID Swindon is on the way to Bournemouth, and evening do's are so much better than the day bit.........
sbfox Posted 13 October 2008 Posted 13 October 2008 There's no terracing. Tickets will easily reach general sale. I guess the only terracing I'll see this year is at the Memorial Ground in Bristol (which, annoyingly is going to work perfectly for 'we're the left/right side'). Good news about general sale though!
Floating Fox Posted 13 October 2008 Posted 13 October 2008 On second thoughts.A £23 train journey I can deal with. What route is this? I'm feeling going via London, just for laughs (and beers)

I live in Reading so depending on which trains I get on I can buy two singles for anywhere between £6 and £10. Sure beats the 30 odd quid I spend travelling to home games!
Tilley Posted 14 October 2008 Posted 14 October 2008 What route is this? I'm feeling going via London, just for laughs (and beers) London, & my feelings exactly

Bert Posted 14 October 2008 Posted 14 October 2008 Carlisle provided we take enough..... Yeovil. Peterborough.
sbfox Posted 14 October 2008 Posted 14 October 2008 Alright, alright lads. Chill out Its the only terracing I'll see this year... Though I am going to Carlisle, so maybe there too.
Head Honcho Posted 14 October 2008 Posted 14 October 2008 There's no terracing. Tickets will easily reach general sale. Lets's hope so cause I've booked my train ticket, although the £8 return fare isn't gonna break the bank.
Guest Posted 19 October 2008 Posted 19 October 2008 It looks like the Lisamobile™ will have to be used for this one.
Daggers Posted 19 October 2008 Posted 19 October 2008 £32.40 for a train journey with three changes? Bollocks to that!
Guest Posted 19 October 2008 Posted 19 October 2008 £32.40 for a train journey with three changes? Bollocks to that! We have come to a similar conclusion.
Alexikokopops Posted 19 October 2008 Posted 19 October 2008 £32.40 for a train journey with three changes? Bollocks to that! £6-10 and half an hour for me
Daggers Posted 19 October 2008 Posted 19 October 2008 But where will Carl sit? I can find out whether 2,496bhp in a hairdresser's car is really worth it, if he can beat me there.
Guest Posted 19 October 2008 Posted 19 October 2008 I can find out whether 2,496bhp in a hairdresser's car is really worth it, if he can beat me there. He says your bike is gay.
Daggers Posted 19 October 2008 Posted 19 October 2008 He says your bike is gay. I'm guessing he is probably right - after all, he'd know (what with owning a Top 10 Gay Car)
JakeShingler Posted 19 October 2008 Posted 19 October 2008 Any one know how much it is for Under 16s on the train. I did look but it said £32 not sure if thats right?
Guest Posted 19 October 2008 Posted 19 October 2008 I'm guessing he is probably right - after all, he'd know (what with owning a Top 10 Gay Car) He doesn't care, but I have noticed that the car in the top 10 is the Mini Cooper. His is a JCW GP.
