Munzie Posted 16 October 2008 Posted 16 October 2008 Yeh could be but surely he will not be at his beast afer a month were as a free month one would have been better. Hopefully he won't be....Probably best he concentrates on his football Welcome back Jake!
Granno Posted 16 October 2008 Posted 16 October 2008 If you have Football Manager you will understand this more, Leicester City are Cheltenham Town's Parent Club I saw it on Teletext and Sky Sports I'm pretty sure the Parent Club in this context means simply that we own the player. If Cheltenham were our feeder club however...
Scow Posted 16 October 2008 Posted 16 October 2008 He's shit - didn't think he was good enough for League football.
Samilktray Posted 16 October 2008 Posted 16 October 2008 He's shit - didn't think he was good enough for League football. <_<
Miquel The Work Geordie Posted 16 October 2008 Posted 16 October 2008 Should be good experience for the lad blah, blah, blah...
Ric Flair Posted 17 October 2008 Posted 17 October 2008 Obviously Martin and Milan still get on then.
lookwhaticando Posted 17 October 2008 Posted 17 October 2008 Obviously Martin and Milan still get on then. Martin just comes around and gives Milan a jolly good hiding from time to time. Milan's scared, that's why he's been so quiet of late... hiding in his office.
JakeShingler Posted 21 October 2008 Posted 21 October 2008 In there squad for the game tonight. Who they playing?
Ultra Posted 22 October 2008 Posted 22 October 2008 No wonder they lost 2-0! Pearson obviously knows more about central defence than Allen does.
Samilktray Posted 22 October 2008 Posted 22 October 2008 No wonder they lost 2-0!Pearson obviously knows more about central defence than Allen does. Quiet.
Finnegan Posted 22 October 2008 Posted 22 October 2008 Yep. Fail to see the point in this myself. Unless Martin Allen is unsure of his potential to make an impact in the team. Easier to give back if it goes wrong and can extend if it works out. They're obviously not convinced of his quality and just want to test him out for a few weeks first, I'd imagine. Hardly surprising as he's not even in our side. Plus there are limits on short and long term loans. Maybe they just need temporary cover! Maybe their manager's insane.
wirralsimon Posted 22 October 2008 Posted 22 October 2008 I was at the game and only realised he was playing when I checked later on the internet Simon
davieG Posted 22 October 2008 Posted 22 October 2008 I was at the game and only realised he was playing when I checked later on the internet Simon So he probably had a half decent mistake free game.
wirralsimon Posted 22 October 2008 Posted 22 October 2008 So he probably had a half decent mistake free game. Probably fair. For most of the game Tramere were doing the bulk of the attacking with the Cheltenham defence soaking up the pressure relatively comfortably, and I thought a 0-0 was on the cards, Tranmere's first goal was while Weslowski was off the pitch.
