What a star i love Sids he plays for our state and he played 6 games last year at an average of 15 which is amazing glad he got a wicket fingers crossed for many more.

His innings figures were 28 overs, 5 maidens, 3-114. They're not bad figures either, not bad for his debut anyway. India look to have reached a pretty handy score, 469all out. Hayden's out early though, that's a huge setback for Australia.

The figures don't probabably show the full story either considering the pitch is a road with little swing and true bounce.

Both are fiery characters are they not? Is Ponting still the skip? He should be calming everyone down, not promoting in-fighting! 5 wickets for 9 runs doesn't sound very Australian either. Ponting is the skipper in fairness it wasn't pontings fault, he has every right to not bowl Lee or anyone if he thinks there not performing. 5 for 9 is not normal too many players out of form and an inexperienced bowling line up with no spinner.

Mickyblueeyes Posted 30 October 2008 Posted 30 October 2008 What happened with Gambhir and Katich? Didnt see the whole incident but from what I did see Katich seemed to obstruct the indian player. It does however seem to be a recurring theme in the Indian games recently where they get involved in some sort of controversy.
