Thracian Posted 1 November 2008 Posted 1 November 2008 For someone who didn't travel to Brighton I cannot believe how depressed I was about Tuesday's result. But my morose mood lightened lunchtime and suddenly I knew it would be a good day... Despite the times we argue, Lisa, Carl and Mr Singh are as good company as you could wish for and a table made up of those three plus Mr Singh's eventually relaxed and smiling young-un, plus Bellend Sebastian, Kilworth Fox, Manwell and the mercifully back-to-being-happy Ultra made for the perfect preamble to the match. Sincere thanks, one and all, for such an engaging half-hour or so.

Ultra Posted 2 November 2008 Posted 2 November 2008 A very enjoyable session. Thanks to all those who were there (even Manwell! ). There was some talk of a Foxestalk Christmas do, possibly after one of the December home games. On yesterday's evidence, that would be an excellent idea.

Manwell has finally escaped from Alan Sheehan's Basement for the game. :D Yes, Manwell's escape quite surprised me. I thought Sheehan spent all his time in his cellar nowadays, cos he doesn't seem to feature much in the football since his last sending off!

Dr The Singh Posted 3 November 2008 Posted 3 November 2008 Yes, I concur, it was really good to have a drink with everyone, soem new faces (bellend, Ultra) and some older (Kilworth, Lisa, Manpabs, Sir Fynwy, TPH and his bro). Junior was well behaved, and rather shy, and didn't moan one bit and when asked he said he would love to go again, sop there's some more positives!!
