Tomassi Posted 7 November 2008 Posted 7 November 2008 Alright Guys The Internet Foxes are struggling to get regular players turn out for the club for every home and away match they arrange. Normally we give 2 weeks notice to players for games. So the idea ive put across to them is to give the foxes regular players a weeks notice to reply, then however many replies we get, we fill the remaining spaces for Foxestalk players. We usually have a max of 16 in the squad. There are opportunities to become a Foxes regular. For Example Match November 22nd Email sent to Foxes regulars on November 8th, got til 15th to reply. 7 players reply with availablilty I then advertise for 9 more players on here to make up the lost numbers Everthing is organised for you, the matches, the kit and the opposition, all you have to do is turn up. The emphasis is on having fun, so winning is not the main aim, we aim to have a laugh before, during, and after the matches so no tw@s please If people are up for it then we will arrange more games against more opposition, and I have also spoke to Bert about this, we can possibly have an Internet Foxes vs Foxestalk match every 6 weeks or so. Tomassi
OriginalRobboFOX Posted 7 November 2008 Posted 7 November 2008 Im game... whenever Im available that is...
Finnegan Posted 7 November 2008 Posted 7 November 2008 Will be interested every now and again Likewise. I'm probably due a not-shit performance at some point after that Talking Balls flop.

Asha Posted 7 November 2008 Posted 7 November 2008 I will play? Maybe at some point in the future we should have an 15-17 v 18-21s V Over 21s Triangle Tournament or something.
syston_fox Posted 7 November 2008 Posted 7 November 2008 Maybe at some point in the future we should have an 15-17 v 18-21s V Over 21s Triangle Tournament or something. To be honest the age blocks have gone out of the window now really. There's a few of the "u21s" who have now come of age so to speak yet will still be sticking to that squad. A mini tournament like that wouldnt be a bad idea though for a future 6 a side or something?
JakeShingler Posted 7 November 2008 Posted 7 November 2008 Or an Ft team versus a new team(Players who have never played before).
Bert Posted 7 November 2008 Posted 7 November 2008 Or an Ft team versus a new team(Players who have never played before). Which is about 3 which also isn't going to happen which also means you aint gonna play.
JakeShingler Posted 7 November 2008 Posted 7 November 2008 Which is about 3 which also isn't going to happen which also means you aint gonna play. Theres more than 3. Why? Why?
Bert Posted 8 November 2008 Posted 8 November 2008 Theres more than 3.Why? Why? Because it won't happen. In all seriousness you face a up-hill struggle breaking through young man.
JakeShingler Posted 8 November 2008 Posted 8 November 2008 In all seriousness you face a up-hill struggle breaking through young man. Why?
Bert Posted 8 November 2008 Posted 8 November 2008 Why? Simply because of the numbers that we already have...
JakeShingler Posted 8 November 2008 Posted 8 November 2008 Simply because of the numbers that we already have... Fair point. But there could be a reserves team or somthing, for when the team has not got a game.
syston_fox Posted 8 November 2008 Posted 8 November 2008 Fair point. But there could be a reserves team or somthing, for when the team has not got a game. And who would this reserve team play?
JakeShingler Posted 8 November 2008 Posted 8 November 2008 And who would this reserve team play? The first team one they do not have a game.
Bert Posted 8 November 2008 Posted 8 November 2008 The first team one they do not have a game. But, the only time the "first team" will play is when Leicester don't have a game. And then, it'd probably be an Under21/Over21 match, or against another forum/team.

Finnegan Posted 8 November 2008 Posted 8 November 2008 I don't mean to be a ****, Shingler, but I am so that's how it comes across. People want to meet people and play football with people they like and get on with on the forums. So far you've created the impression that you're an un-likeable try-hard that really needs to think before he posts. You're not going to be filling anyone with enthusiasm to pick you or meet up with you on the back of how you've presented yourself since joining Foxes Talk. I know it's hard being younger than most everyone else - trust me, I was a twat on the internet when I was your age too (still am, in truth) but you can't really be surprised - given the amount people tell you to fuck off on here - that they wouldn't want to pick you for their team.
Cat Burger Posted 8 November 2008 Posted 8 November 2008 Sound idea Tom, you might have to let me know about the games on here or on msn or something seeing as I'm 'accidentally' off that weblist now.
