  1. 1. Fryatts Contract what should we do?

    • Don't renew and allow him to run it down and hope he fire us up
      9
    • Take a small sum from the sheep or another.
      6
    • Give him mega bucks to sign a long contract
      10
    • Keep him on the same deal but extend it a year or two
      74
    • Demand he takes a pay cut to stay
      2
  2. 2. And if he doesn't sign?

    • Play him regardless
      64
    • Def. sell him in Jan.
      33
    • Relegate him to the youth team!!

get him to sign a new contract with a get out clause for him if we don't get promoted, and a get out clause for us if we do!!!

Doesn't really incentivise him to fire us to promotion.

make him an offer he can't refuse ; tell him if he don't sign he'll wake up with the fishes

Yes, good idea, SELL HIM TO GRIMSBY!!

Extend it, then at least we can have a say in the price if we want to sell. Either that or risk it running out and getting ziltch

Surely if he's to stay his contract will need to be increased, i can't see him agreeing to staying if it isn't increased as i would think he could get a better contract elsewhere. Got to offer him a better contract and keep him

Let him leave.

Fryatt's yet to prove he can cut it in the Championship. If another side want to take their chance with him, they should be allowed to do so.

This team has survived the loss of Stearman, McAuley and Hume. It would withstand Fryatt leaving too.

For two seasons I wouldn't have backed him to score against a team of 11 dustbins but 15 goals this season in a far more creative team would make any manager take notice.

So long as he's prepared to stay you'd have to wonder why Pearson would ever wish to get rid of him. If we failed to replace those goals the manager would be held up to ridicule.

Even if we did get promoted and he failed to match that sort of form he'd still be a worthwhile bench player and, although I don't think anything will recify his obvious faults, having attacking players around him would likely ensure a reasonable return.

Any team could survive the loss of McAuley.

He's doing OK for Wolves though by all acounts - whereas Ipswich fans would have a whipround for Gareth's bus fare.

Wolves - 24 goals conceded in 17 games.

Ipswich - 17 goals conceded in 17 games.

Stats tell the whole story, don't you know?:thumbup:
