Bert Posted 29 November 2008 Author Posted 29 November 2008 It contains effort. Also, if like me, it hurts when you cut yourself. Ben -
Libertine Posted 29 November 2008 Posted 29 November 2008 ****er! I need a bloody shave actually. Looks like a mule's arsehair.
Ross-Kemp Posted 29 November 2008 Posted 29 November 2008 It contains effort. Also, if like me, it hurts when you cut yourself. Ben - I've only ever cut myself once, take your time berty boy
syston_fox Posted 29 November 2008 Posted 29 November 2008 LD3, Libertine et al need not read on. But, isn't shaving a pain in the ass. Yup - that's why I don't clean shave and just trim the growth a couple of times a week with a beard trimmer.

Bert Posted 29 November 2008 Author Posted 29 November 2008 Some of us can't even afford electric, let alone electric shavers.

Miquel The Work Geordie Posted 29 November 2008 Posted 29 November 2008 You can get a really decent Philips razor for reasonably cheap.
Bert Posted 29 November 2008 Author Posted 29 November 2008 Tudor Road way aaaayyyeee. That's probably why I cut myself - we've no electric to turn on the lights so i do it in the dark. I wonder where all my other hairs went.
syston_fox Posted 29 November 2008 Posted 29 November 2008 Some of us can't even afford electric, let alone electric shavers. In that case invest in a decent wet razor with as many blades as possible and replace the blades often to ensure they're sharp. For some reason the sharper the blades, the less I cut myself.
Bert Posted 29 November 2008 Author Posted 29 November 2008 AND SHINGLERDON'T YOU DARE FORGET THE BEAST THAT IS SHINGLEBERRY 4 or 5 You're not 17?
lildave3 Posted 29 November 2008 Posted 29 November 2008 That's probably why I cut myself - we've no electric to turn on the lights so i do it in the dark. I wonder where all my other hairs went. That's how you really got that mullet wasn't it!
Bert Posted 29 November 2008 Author Posted 29 November 2008 That's how you really got that mullet wasn't it! No. ....
Miquel The Work Geordie Posted 29 November 2008 Posted 29 November 2008 Beautiful Just ouyt of interest, how often does everyone shave? It really bugs me because if I shave tonight, by the time I wake up tomorrow, I'll have S.A.S style stubble sideburns. It looks alright, butonly when the hair is at a thin sandpaper-like consistency.
Fox You Forest Posted 29 November 2008 Posted 29 November 2008 Yup - that's why I don't clean shave and just trim the growth a couple of times a week with a beard trimmer. I do the same, Mine tends to turn ginger when it gets to a certain length so that's when i trim. I made loads of mistakes in that sentence.
