syston_fox Posted 29 November 2008 Posted 29 November 2008 I do the same, Mine tends to turn ginger when it get to a certain length so that's when i trim. When I start getting called "Beardy" at work, I know it's time for a trim! <_<
Ross-Kemp Posted 29 November 2008 Posted 29 November 2008 Shit. I best find me pipe and slippers and fook off to bed then. Never too old. Just ask AoWw
Miquel The Work Geordie Posted 29 November 2008 Posted 29 November 2008 I clean shave btw. This is what I do, but come the morning I look like Chris Ryan.
Bert Posted 29 November 2008 Author Posted 29 November 2008 This is what I do, but come the morning I look like Chris Ryan. Ha. After about 3 hours my face is about as rough as Jade goody.
Ross-Kemp Posted 29 November 2008 Posted 29 November 2008 Ha.After about 3 hours my face is about as rough as Jade goody.
Miquel The Work Geordie Posted 29 November 2008 Posted 29 November 2008 Ha.After about 3 hours my face is about as rough as Jade goody. This is the problem I face, although I don't really mind it when it's a bit "grainy" feeling. Under my chin and along my jawline. Problem areas.
Ross-Kemp Posted 29 November 2008 Posted 29 November 2008 This is the problem I face, although I don't really mind it when it's a bit "grainy" feeling.Under my chin and along my jawline. Problem areas. Jawline is always a problem for me, always, always miss abit.
Miquel The Work Geordie Posted 29 November 2008 Posted 29 November 2008 Jawline is always a problem for me, always, always miss abit. I don't mind jawline facial hair in it's early stages though. Gives it more definition, I suppose.
Ross-Kemp Posted 29 November 2008 Posted 29 November 2008 I don't mind jawline facial hair in it's early stages though. Gives it more definition, I suppose. Suppose so. I always tell myself, i'll grow it, so it looks David Villa esque, but never works.
Miquel The Work Geordie Posted 29 November 2008 Posted 29 November 2008 Suppose so.I always tell myself, i'll grow it, so it looks David Villa esque, but never works. I tried to grow a Geroge Michael goatee once, but just ended up looking like a pimp. Pimp 'tache.
Ross-Kemp Posted 29 November 2008 Posted 29 November 2008 Beppe Di Marco goateeee. 'av it. ooo ooo, I don't think i've got it in me
Miquel The Work Geordie Posted 29 November 2008 Posted 29 November 2008 I'd better start smoking fifty a day to get Beppe's husky voice as well then.
Libertine Posted 29 November 2008 Posted 29 November 2008 I'd better start smoking fifty a day to get Beppe's husky voice as well then. Didn't all the Beppe family move to Leicester? You'll fit right in.
MC Prussian Posted 29 November 2008 Posted 29 November 2008 I'm trying to grow a beard. With the emphasis on trying. Would love to prep up for the colder season, but my facial hair is somewhat letting me down so far. I'll give it a year.
Phube Posted 29 November 2008 Posted 29 November 2008 Been wet shaving since I was 14/15... never got on with electric. I want to but a big, posh, expensive one but if it's crap... you can't really take it back....
Zingari Posted 29 November 2008 Posted 29 November 2008 always thought gillette quattro was the best until i tried " king of shaves " , they are brilliant
Daggers Posted 29 November 2008 Posted 29 November 2008 LD3, Libertine et al need not read on. But, isn't shaving a pain in the ass. You're just jealous of the new beard
Mickey O'Neil Posted 29 November 2008 Posted 29 November 2008 Been wet shaving since I was 14/15... never got on with electric. I want to but a big, posh, expensive one but if it's crap... you can't really take it back.... I moved away from Philips to a fudging expensive £110 Remington job last year. Absolutely crap. In that case invest in a decent wet razor with as many blades as possible and replace the blades often to ensure they're sharp. Amen to that Syston . I've gone double-edged wet shaving and getting some of the best results I've had. I bought a Merkur Vision earlier this year, it's fuggin ace and now all my leccy shavers have gone in the bin. I got sick of paying stupid money for the Mach 3's (why didn't all the smack-heads find me after they nicked a load!!?) and I'm a true d-e convert. I bought shed loads of blades when I was in Poland in Sept. Blades worked out to less than 8p each!!
