Have to say I think it's a bit of a shame the flare is in that one but it's possible to use lens flares to your advantage..

there's a tool which adds alterable lens flares on photoshop lol

Went to Derbyshire yesterday to Monsall Dale and Padley Gorge. Here's a few shots. Nothing spectacular or anything, but quite like them.

Yeah it's just being able to afford stuff at the moment. Finances are a bit too tight for my liking. lol

I use a Canon EOS 55OD. Got it about a month and a half ago. Love it.

Canon, my opinion below average cameras, but the best lenses.

Now Sony...

I forked out £180 for the standard Sony Alpha 75-300, so expect around that price.

It is however possible to pick up cheaper lenses, Minolta etc, i can't remember which one is for canon, and I believe they're around £100, but I assume the quality is worse.

So it's whether you want to risk spending £100 and being possibly disappointed or just go for the Canon one, which will, undoubtedly be high quality.

Some nice pics as well Mikey!

See i'm the opposite of that. haha. I had a Sony and hated it but i love my Canon. lol

Just individual tastes i guess. I'll be saving up for a better lense very soon but not got my eye on anything particular as yet.

Cheers as well mate :)

More great photos MikeyT. :photo:

Cheers Wymsey :)

Just got delivered a Canon 55-250mm IS to join my Canon 500d. Want to go home and try it now!!

Amazon, £155 notes. Quite pleased with the price, lets hope it delivers.

Not bad, may look at that one myself!: D

Loved them all but especially this one. I think pictures with paths add depth to it.

Only just seen this comment. Thank you mate. :)

Took these on Sunday at Tutbury Castle. Lots of actors dressed in Period costumes from various eras of history. Just a handful here from the 1,165 photos i took. lol

The woman dressed as Queen Elizabeth and the "wench" is Lesley Smith who was in the television show Most Haunted,
