I thought last week's was pretty good. Especially Ed Byrne.

Not looking forward to tonight's one.

I'd rather stick pins in my eyes. And ears.

Last week's had Lenny Henry.

And Andy Parsons.

Ed Byrne only got about ten minutes.

People are saying it was good? Am I missing something?

Lenny Henry had me in stiches the other 2 were pretty shite.

Lenny Henry was ok, but too much about being black. Alot of cringeworthy stuff. His kids must be embarrassed at some of the stuff he does lol

Leicester comedy festival coming up by the way. Should be making a few shows hopefully. For those interested, Rhod Gilbert, Ed Byrne and Stephen K Amos are all featuring in various places.

Thought Russell Howard was good but got bored when Jo Brand came on and turned over to Rude Tube/Family Guy.

I have heard a bit of his stuff before though but his delivery is pretty good!

You can only watch him once. First time you hear is jokes and that's it. They are the only jokes you will hear. Seen him about 4 times and there are always the same 4 or 5 jokes somewhere along the line.

I only watched the last 10 minutes. Is Jo Brand always that boring? :dunno:

yeah she's sh*t

Mark of a good comic isn't it though, the ability to adapt with the times and produce new material within 6 months to a year.

I saw Jasper Carrott and Victoiira Wood at DMH 20 years ago and they were doing the same stuff 5 years later. Same with Lee Evans, I went off him after his set lasted for a number of years. Jimmy Carr started off the same and I remember Brendan Burns doing the same set about a bloke shagging a goat for at least 3 years.

Andy Parsons is gigging too round the comedy festival I think. Thought his bit on Live at the Apollo the other week was quality

Howard was good, again. Like him. Jo Brand was woeful as expected.

I watched him last night, far better than I expected.

As for Jo Brand I don't want to be sexist but women can't do stand up comedy, sorry.
