Joe. Posted 26 January 2009 Posted 26 January 2009 Can get the train for £9.40 (adult) return if we left at 18.15 (arriving at 19.14), compared to £14.10 if you left earlier than that.
Tommeh Posted 26 January 2009 Posted 26 January 2009 Lets just say 'spoons near the train station for half 4ish. Fooooook it feels good to have a game where I don't have to drive.

JoeyB Posted 27 January 2009 Posted 27 January 2009 I still have a few places left in my car if anyone needs a lift from Kettering area. What pub are the FT massive hitting then? Yeah i have space in mine too.
Floating Fox Posted 27 January 2009 Posted 27 January 2009 Yeah, sorted mine, Ben's and Andy's today too. Cheers mate. You're getting the 6.15pm from Leicester? More drinking time... What train you on again ?
Maybes Posted 27 January 2009 Posted 27 January 2009 Cheers mate. More drinking time... What train you on again ? 6.15pm from Leeicester doesnt get you to the bescot according to the trainline until after the games kicks off
Alexikokopops Posted 27 January 2009 Posted 27 January 2009 6.15pm from Leeicester doesnt get you to the bescot according to the trainline until after the games kicks off That's probably because they allow a day for you to change at New Street.
andyh1884 Posted 27 January 2009 Posted 27 January 2009 Can get the train for £9.40 (adult) return if we left at 18.15 (arriving at 19.14), compared to £14.10 if you left earlier than that. 18:15 sounds good. If you get the train from leicester at 6.15, you'll be very lucky to make kick-off. The trains to Bescot aren't the most regular. That train would give you 3 minutes to make the one to Bescot to make kick-off, assuming it arrives in Birmingham on time, and even that train only gets in 5 minutes before kick-off The 18.47 to Bescot will be the one I get, means there's no chance of missing kick off
Maybes Posted 27 January 2009 Posted 27 January 2009 That's probably because they allow a day for you to change at New Street. They will arive at new street at 19.14pm and expect to get on the 19.17pm that gets you for the bescot at 19.40pm....good luck boys. You're gonna need it!!
