Katy Posted 1 February 2009 Posted 1 February 2009 Still no snow. At this rate I'm going to have to go to work tomorrow Yeah well I'm probably going to have to miss Uni, I'm annoyed because Mondays are a good day Uni wise
Alexikokopops Posted 1 February 2009 Posted 1 February 2009 There is no white stuff here whatsoever. There's loads here
Katy Posted 2 February 2009 Posted 2 February 2009 Hmmm, this snow could prove a bitch tomorrow. Tell me about it, not happy
dilko2008 Posted 2 February 2009 Posted 2 February 2009 i would put money on this game being off!! Snowed off if this carries on.
CosbehFox Posted 2 February 2009 Posted 2 February 2009 If Walsall and it's Bescott Stadium survive today, I am confident it will be on!
Daggers Posted 2 February 2009 Posted 2 February 2009 Snowed off if this carries on. It is tipping down with White now - and forecast to continue throughout the day and overnight. Even if they clear the pitch of snow it will still be called off because of the frozen surface. I don't think anyone should bank on attending this.
JakeShingler Posted 2 February 2009 Posted 2 February 2009 Would it be sensible to get an earlyer train just in case?
Joe. Posted 2 February 2009 Posted 2 February 2009 Even if the match is on, the train service is surely going to be limited at best? I'm not sure how the trains fare in snow...
Tommeh Posted 2 February 2009 Posted 2 February 2009 This isn't looking good, Just hoping they let us know of anything defenate before 5pm so we don't get a train for nothing. If worst comes to the worst and trains are out but games on then I'll drive.
Darkzzz_ Posted 2 February 2009 Posted 2 February 2009 I am certain it will be called off. Damn you snow. I was finally looking forward to plucking up the confidence to meet some FT's.
syston_fox Posted 2 February 2009 Posted 2 February 2009 Even if the match is on, the train service is surely going to be limited at best? I'm not sure how the trains fare in snow... Took me just under two hours to get from Nottingham to Leicester by train this morning.... should have taken 35 mins!
Alexikokopops Posted 2 February 2009 Posted 2 February 2009 Even if the match is on, the train service is surely going to be limited at best? I'm not sure how the trains fare in snow... All the trains in and around London are cancelled
JakeShingler Posted 2 February 2009 Posted 2 February 2009 http://www.saddlers.co.uk/page/News/0,,10428~1542207,00.html Looks like it will be on
Joe. Posted 2 February 2009 Posted 2 February 2009 Well that's good news, let's just hope the trains are alright.
JakeShingler Posted 2 February 2009 Posted 2 February 2009 Well that's good news, let's just hope the trains are alright. Agrees could turn out a bleeder if theres no trains.
Darkzzz_ Posted 2 February 2009 Posted 2 February 2009 I am still not 100% sure, tonight is going to be bad as well. I think it could be off still.
JakeShingler Posted 2 February 2009 Posted 2 February 2009 I am still not 100% sure, tonight is going to be bad as well.I think it could be off still. I don't think it matters if they have them sheets.
Darkzzz_ Posted 2 February 2009 Posted 2 February 2009 hmmmm. Yeah I guess, maybe the sheets will be freeze to the surface.
