Corky Posted 7 July 2008 Posted 7 July 2008 Do you know how many fans do you have?How many fan clubs(organizations) do you have? 125 million worldwide. Only Man Utd and Real Madrid have more. Don't know how many organisations we have, the main one though is the extremely popular Foxes Trust.

We averaged 23,500 fans last season, the 3rd highest in the Championship, which we were relegated from. Our attendance was higher than some Premiership teams as well. I expect we'll still get 20,000+ for our games next season even though we are in League One. Most teams in that league will be lucky to get 8,000 fans. Cliff Ginnetta is leader of our Ultras.

I support the team that is the biggest rival of CSKA Sofia in Bulgaria (it's basically like Celtic-Rangers, Man Utd-Man City) so you can believe I'm honest when I say the guy's very good. Hopefully he adapts well to the English style of playing and becomes a great signing for you, he definitely has the potential to be. By the way, nice forum, I think I might stick around.

I just mentioned it so you know that I'm not biased towards the guy in any way, just the opposite, it's like a Celtic fan praising a Rangers player. And thanks for the welcome.

Nah, I was only messing around . We have quite a good fanbase though, for a club of our size. Don't know exactly how many supporters we have got, but the good thing is we don't have hangers-on and Johnny-come-latelys. Every fan is committed and dedicated.

BlueSi13 Posted 7 July 2008 Posted 7 July 2008 Sounds like an exciting signature to have for a League 1 club (temporary league 1 club mind) i just hope he isn't just coming for the money whilst leaving his hunger and heart at home, like so many players who seemingly come down a level in their own eyes. Or use us as a stepping stone, god forbid.......like Hume, using us to finally make it to the gargantuan Barnsley! :laugh: However, triffic name for the back of the new shirt though!! i am muchos tempted! Wasn't there some kind of report posted on here that estimated our fanbase was 12th largest in England, 14th largest in Britain (behind Celtic & Rangers too) and second largest outside of the Premiership (behind Leeds)
