Fox You Forest Posted 8 July 2008 Posted 8 July 2008 Yes,you're right. But you can''t reject to your own country-especially if it's BULGARIA!БЪЛГАРИЙО, НАЙ-ВЕЛИКА НА СВЕТА, ДА РАЗВЕЕМ ЗНАМЕНА, ЗА ЛЮБИМАТА СТРАНА! I wouldnt expect him to reject Bulgaria. Lets face it your not that far behind England in the rankings.
Ric Flair Posted 8 July 2008 Posted 8 July 2008 Depends how many other Internationals we have in our squad, games get postponed if there are x amount of your players on international duty.
CSKA SOFIA Posted 8 July 2008 Posted 8 July 2008 I wouldnt expect him to reject Bulgaria. Lets face it your not that far behind England in the rankings. There is an interview with Milan Mandaric in Bulgaria some day ago...He said good words about CSKA Sofia and fans of the club.

Kiisshshishwiishshiyysevhhevevev. Assuming he still plays. Kisnorbo, Tunchev, think it's 4 you need to have the game called off.

Father Ted Posted 8 July 2008 Posted 8 July 2008 hi all,I'm yet another CSKA fan to join those boards :_) Just wanted to congratulate you on signing Tunchev. By skimming through the threads about him I see quite a few of you all have their reservations about this transfer, I understand that you've had some bad experiences which foreign 'stars' recently, but I really don't think you should worry about this one. To be honest I'm very disappointed he left the club, but as things here are deteriorating even more in the last couple of days, I can justify this decision to some extent.. As for his motivations for this move - actually I think it's logical. I know you guys don't know much about Bulgaria, but people here know A LOT about English football and it has a really really huge reputation over here. Leicester may be down now, but the club is also relatively well-known here. So basically there isn't a player in Bulgaria that would turn down a transfer to England. League 1 can indeed seem a bit lowly for a player of Tunchev's caliber, but i believe that he wanted to get out of CSKA as soon as possible. Some of Tunchev's teammates here, who were also among the club's best players and national team players, had quite a few problems with their transfers in the past season. There were always speculations that this and that big-name club was interested in them, but the transfer moves never happened. Finally, now that the crisis has really hit hard on our club players which are of equal caliber as Tunchev have ended up in (albeit top level) clubs in Russia and Ukraine.. So I guess Alex has decided that he doesn't want to end up somewhere in Russia too and took the risk to move here. There's always the problem of adaptation, and I really do hope Tunch (as we lovingly call him here ;_)) manages to settle down quickly, hopefully Kishishev would help with that. But if he manages to get used to playing here quickly, your only concern about him should be if he is going to stay long enough in Leicester - mark my words :_) He's very stable in defence, and has excellent positioning, he's though, but you won't see any reckless challenges from him either. He can also cover well for his teammates when they go attacking on the flanks (as was the norm at CSKA). He is also indeed a very prolific goalscorer for a defender, but I'm not sure if he is going to replicate that at Leicester. 90% of his goals are from headers, and though he plays really well with his head, those were mostly down to team tactics. So if your manager doesn't allow him to go up front for those corners or free kicks, you can't expect him to start scoring :_). And to compensate for what turned out to be too long of a post, here's a little taste of what's hopefully to be expected of him :_) http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=aG9oBp7RqAA - highlights from the Lux - Bul game, where he scored his first national team goal (and not a header mind you ) and the three goals he scored this season for CSKA in the championship: http://inside.cska.bg/cska/multimedia/vide...20071103_02.avi http://inside.cska.bg/cska/multimedia/vide...20080323_02.avi http://inside.cska.bg/cska/multimedia/vide...20080405_02.avi that's all from me :_) All the best to Leicester and Tunch this coming season! pozdravi :_) A great post What a goal that first one is And Pozdravi i ti (Hope you understand it )

I can read Cyrillic And even understand - CBETA, which means world and CTPAHA - which means side oh and the first one in bold is velika which means big and HA is on. Oh, I'm just too clever.

Oh, I'm just too clever. it means "Bulgaria, the GREATEST on the world,to fly flags for the favourite country..." in English there is no rhyme
Red_Pride_1948 Posted 8 July 2008 Posted 8 July 2008 i believe that he wanted to get out of CSKA as soon as possible. Not true at all, he said it himself - "I'm not running, its just that the club have financial problems and the need of those transfer money is quite sensible". As for the other players who left our club said that they actually didn't wanted to, except for Vili maybe, because he is older than Alex. Even Petre said that he wanted to stay. Tunchev surely is going to develop more and more as a player. And if he played on CSKA - Toulouse, that shitty goal in the 96-th minute wouldnt happen. It is a pure sin if you have a high class player like that and he is not on the ground. But to tell you the truth, even if he is a world class /Tunchev is not, currently/ he still need some kind of cooperation and integration, I sincerely hope that Tunchev won't be having any problems with that. I really want to see Leicester and Tunchev rocking, whatever they have to. And lets not forget that he was nearly the goal so many times. For example when we played the last match with the cows he hitted the beam... He and Kotev were forming great team!
emitunchev Posted 8 July 2008 Posted 8 July 2008 Hi guys, I am a huge Bulgarian fan of CSKA. Tunchev is my favorite player, and wherever he goes I will support him. He is a very talented player. Kaleibel Posted 8 July 2008 Posted 8 July 2008 Or maybe just he's a great header of the ball from set-pieces That's correct. Kiisshshishwiishshiyysevhhevevev. Assuming he still plays. Recently he hasn't been called up for the international side. Don't know if that's going to change soon, but I personally doubt it. Добре дошли на всички българи и поддръжници на Tunchev.
