Just thought I was first on here so I would start it, get the bragging rights in early and tell the the results before they come in with their excuses. Dissapointed with the constant moaning at ref and linesman , not the most fun game ive ever played in . Maybes Jamie and Bert were top drawer for u21s Robbo , cat burger and singh maybe the pick for us

I think when you are playing in any game and a desicion doesnt go your way and you feel hard done by then you are going to dispute that desicion. Even though its only a friendly game. All in all the ref done well, he didnt have to come and ref the game and he did so, fairplay to the lad. Earned a few pennies aswell.

I dunno mate , constant moaning from the 1st whistle pissed me right off , but in fairness i thought the game would be a tad heated and glad it wasnt really other than a few wank challenges . Fair play to your lot they played well , i think other than Bert / Jme the sides were fairly matched but those two were the difference . And a shout for Maybes as thats the best ive seen him play . GLC made some cracking saves also Some cracking banter in the pub actually , LD3 wanted some chips but they had ran out because they were on Joe and JMEs shoulders

lildave3 Posted 17 January 2009 Posted 17 January 2009 Enjoyable, until it started getting a bit heated in the last few minutes 5-3 win I reckon, think Wilkesy got 1 not 2? The first wasn't offside, i'll tell you that now! Although Albert's goal shouldn't have been allowed because I was blatantly fouling Singh Top marks to Shingler, first for turning up (which surprised me) and then for playing well. Thought C-Man and Maybes were class at the back, Ched and Nihat were pretty good aswell. Oh, and can't believe Loft missed a penalty! I wanted that for the hat trick

Cat-Burger was class today, has turned into a very good player plays like Tomas Rosicky! Was not happy about the dive for the penalty, sold the referee a treat! But glad we got on with it. its a shame some of the lads are too serious (agree with sparky about the moaning) but mostly good banter. was loving the free kick, me and cobbo did the same trick in a match 2 years ago and knew exactly what we were doing haha :-D Well done lads, heres to the next game
