maddog Posted 20 January 2009 Share Posted 20 January 2009 We almost threw it away at their place before super Lloyd got the goal and we nicked all 3 points. But Huddersfield have 5 wins in their previous 8 league games and are very close to a playoff place. They are unbeaten in their last 4 League games. The last in form team we played at the Walkers, we won 4-0. If we can play aswell as we did against Yeovil in this game and put away our chances we are capable of winning at least 4-0. Davies was stunning in the Yeovil game, Premiership class. Fryatt is struggling recently though and needs a goal. Il say 3-1 win. maddog Posted 21 January 2009 Author Share Posted 21 January 2009 The Dons drew last night V Peterboro the perfect result for us. Chance for us to run away with the League if we win the next few games. Come onnnnnnnnnnnnnnnnnnnnnnnnnnnnnnnnnnnn!
Fosse Boy Posted 21 January 2009 Share Posted 21 January 2009 Hopeful of a win so that I can laud it over my mate who supports Huddersfield. According to him they've been a "sleeping giant" since the 1920s, and they're still a big club!

Monk Posted 21 January 2009 Share Posted 21 January 2009 We are at such a stage where we are expected to win every game now. We have confidence in all areas of the pitch, even without Tunch and we look capable of scoring all the time when we attack. This game should be no different, they are on a good run but we are still in a different class to the rest of the top 10 at the moment. Win, 2-0. Daggers Posted 21 January 2009 Share Posted 21 January 2009 If they try anything other than playing for a point we'll kill them. If they try to play for a point we'll score and beat them. Huddersfield's best option is to stay in the cold North and forfeit the match.

Stig the Lawnmower Posted 22 January 2009 Share Posted 22 January 2009 I've voted for a win, 2-1. to be honest I see this as a must win game, we need points in hand to demoralise the rest. if we lose and MK Dons win their next game we will only be 3 points ahead. Bloody hell! I'm being pessimistic. twat! we're top of the league, of course we'll win

Acetripper Posted 22 January 2009 Share Posted 22 January 2009 I can see another Peterborough scenario here. We will walk them. I don't expect that at all mate! I expect a high tempo, passing game with bags of passion and above desire to win. From the Terriers that this! Your lads will be brimming with top o'the League confidence no doubt but we'll be looking match it and even exceed it. Steve Black will have us prepared mentally, Terry Mc and Derek Faz will have us prepared physically and Lee will be expecting a blood dripping from the ceiling desire. If only it was that simple?
