After watching MOTD last night and seeing some cracking interceptions/ blocks he has been making.

I was just thinking how good this fella is and he deserves some praise.

Been the rock at CB for Newcastle and seems like he has been around for ages.

he is 23 played 100 + games for Newcastle and been in the Eng u21's 30+ games.

Great player.

Very good player with a lot of potential. His problem is Newcastle. With managers coming in and out he's not had a solid manager to nurture him properly. It would benefit him and England going to villa or a similar club. Im sure hes not had the best of seasons as I vaguely remember him making lots of mistakes at the start of the season resulting in him being dropped.

Yeah i thought that, with newcastle they have a new manager everyyear atm, like us. and Taylor keeps getting pushed back. Like you said i think a move to Villa, everton or even spurs would suit him well, because it looks like they will have a set manager for a while.

The Newcastle fans that I have spoken too don't rate him at all, other fans seem to rate him a lot more than they do. Decent defender, he's the sort of defender that throws himself infront of the ball which covers his weakenesses, you can't argue his passion for Newcastle though.

When he first came into the Newcastle side he was rather good, but at the minute he just isn't at all consistent and finds himself having to make those blocks to recover from mistakes, and only manages to do that half the time. Still decent, just not more than a mid-table player unless he can get some consistency. Still, no Titus.

I don't rate him at all to be honest.

I mean, how long can you be in the U21 team. He's been there forever.

Well you wouldn't say he's good enough for the full squad would you!
