Apparently they put the frost sheets on teh pitch on Saturday evening, so all the snow is resting on them. Still not ideal. I'd be worried about trains too.

I know they've got covers, but it could freeze underneath, plus the surrounding areas (not the immediate ones, but the motorways) could be very busy and difficult to use. I hope they tell people early if it's off, don't want hundreds of Leicester fans making a wasted journey.
Monk Posted 2 February 2009 Posted 2 February 2009 Definitely a sensible decision to cancel the arsenal game. The tubes are absolutely screwed today - on my floor at workthere are about 7/30 people in the office. Soon to be 6 as I'm not hanging around!

If the ground's much cop, as you said the M6 needs to be in decent condition by 2pm tomorrow really.

At least there'll be less chance of a wasted journey than if we'd been playing at Yeovil or Carlisle..
