Mark Posted 7 February 2009 Posted 7 February 2009 If Southgate gets the boot I fear Middlesbrough may come calling for Pearson. <_<
StanSP Posted 7 February 2009 Posted 7 February 2009 If Southgate gets the boot I fear Middlesbrough may come calling for Pearson. <_< Hope not. Hope Pearson has the guts to say no. And hope Mandaric tell boro to fook off! Or they might not go for him at all - could go for Curbishley..

dandannieldanok Posted 7 February 2009 Posted 7 February 2009 Hope not. Hope Pearson has the guts to say no. And hope Mandaric tell boro to fook off! Not really much Mandaric can do, it all depends on whether Pearson would want to go or not. Like what happened with Bolton approaching Megson, if the manager wants to go it's pointless standing in their way.

Ultra Posted 8 February 2009 Posted 8 February 2009 I'd like to think Pearson would stay if that situation ever arose... I think Tony Mowbray might be ahead of him in the queue. But I can't see Southgate leaving before the end of the season.

Pearson will probably have to have his left testicle removed and sold to be able to afford the buy out clause on this contract..
Number 6 Posted 9 February 2009 Posted 9 February 2009 I reckon Southgate has the potential to be a good manager. It seems 'boro are willing to give him the time too, they really need to end this awful run though. With regard to Given, great keeper, but what of the also very good Joe Hart?
