There's no need to play players out of position when you don't have to.

For the money Dawson is on and with the state of the youngsters at our club Levein will want to keep him. If it was Micky still here, he'd be getting released. Mind you, if Dawson is released that's it between me and Craig. Dawson is reserve team captain when the likes of Heath, Gemmill and a few other seasoned pro's are playing. Now he wouldn't be given that role if he didn't have a future at City. Although it is strange he hasn't been on the bench for us for ages.

Stearman - Heath - McCarthy - Maybury Gillespie - Hughes - Nalis - Tiatto Connolly - Dublin Nalis to play a more defensive role than Hughes, who's main role will be to support the forwards. Tiatto under strict instruction that he'll lose a finger every time he strays out of position and leaves Maybury exposed...

Walker Stearman - Dublin - McCarthy - Maybury Gillespie - Hughes - Nalis - Tiatto Connolly - Moore The midfield looks a bit flimsy with Hughes and Nalis in there, but we're at home and we need to go for it. Nalis uses the ball better than Gudjonsson anyway.
