Floating Fox Posted 25 February 2009 Posted 25 February 2009 Chelsea - Real Madrid - Villareal. Not bet on Chelski.
Corky Posted 25 February 2009 Posted 25 February 2009 Chelsea to win tonight, but Juventus will win the tie. Liverpool v Real Madrid is very close to call, the Anfield atmosphere could see Liverpool get through in the second leg.
lavrentis Posted 25 February 2009 Posted 25 February 2009 Come on Panathinaikos. It's a miracle how a Greek team has mananaged to get this far. Panatha mou
Part Of The Crowd Posted 25 February 2009 Posted 25 February 2009 I have a feeling Liverpool are going to surprise alot of people and play an absolute blinder, which is why i'm going to watch this one rather than Chelsea Juve
lildave3 Posted 25 February 2009 Posted 25 February 2009 Come on Panathinaikos. It's a miracle how a Greek team has mananaged to get this far. Panatha mou Still not as far as a Turkish team got last year
lildave3 Posted 25 February 2009 Posted 25 February 2009 Robben will show tonight why I love him 1-1 draw for me.
Uncle Albert Posted 25 February 2009 Author Posted 25 February 2009 COME ON CHELSEA AND LIVERPOOL!!!! 2-0 Chelsea and 2-1 Madrid.
lildave3 Posted 25 February 2009 Posted 25 February 2009 What an effort by Alonso Chelsea's goal was very well taken, good goal and good finish. Ribery producing the goods again for Bayern too, awesome player.
Fox You Forest Posted 25 February 2009 Posted 25 February 2009 I can't take David Platt seriously, Everytime he's on i just keep thinking Robocop...
Bert Posted 25 February 2009 Posted 25 February 2009 3-0 Bayern. I knew I should've put them in a bet, especially at 11/8.
Darkzzz_ Posted 25 February 2009 Posted 25 February 2009 Good lad Rossi. Juve are playing well, some nice play, Chelsea very quiet this half. I am sure Juve wouldn't mind a 1-0 defeat here, providing it stays this way.
Bert Posted 25 February 2009 Posted 25 February 2009 How on earth, are Liverpool winning, without Torres and Gerrard?
Darkzzz_ Posted 25 February 2009 Posted 25 February 2009 I have never seen a Chelsea team defend as deep as this. Juve certainly deserve a draw at the very least. Hiddink is a tactician though, so it is hardly surprising.
dandannieldanok Posted 25 February 2009 Posted 25 February 2009 Bayern are rampant, 5-0 away from home!
lildave3 Posted 25 February 2009 Posted 25 February 2009 Bayern romped to the win, Andy will like that surely. I'm pretty sure Lavrentis will take a 1-1 draw away at Villareal too! Solid performance from Liverpool, great result. Cracking ball in and good header too. Crazy foul to give away from Heinze though.
Bert Posted 25 February 2009 Posted 25 February 2009 1-0 wins for both British teams tonight. Not one British team has conceded in the first leg of the champions league. That's impressive.
Darkzzz_ Posted 25 February 2009 Posted 25 February 2009 Well done Bayern. I think they will lose 6-5 still. Really enjoyed the Chelsea V Juve game, If Juve can play as well as they did in the second half they can certainly knock Chelsea out.

Good results all round, also glad the english teams won
shen Posted 25 February 2009 Posted 25 February 2009 How on earth, are Liverpool winning, without Torres and Gerrard? Easy. Real looked like they've never been up against a well-organised defense. They were awful. Why Sneijder, van der Vaart or Saviola were left on the bench is anyone's guess. Gago, Diarra and Guti were very poor...
Uncle Albert Posted 25 February 2009 Author Posted 25 February 2009 1-0 wins for both British teams tonight. Not one British team has conceded in the first leg of the champions league. That's impressive. Yup. What a performance by Liverpool tonight, was absolutely brilliant. Defensively I think they are one of the best teams in Europe along with Man Utd. I only think Reina had one testing save to make during the 90 minutes, I think? Alonso and Mascherano were very, very good tonight. This 4-2-3-1 formation is excellent, I love it. Great win for Chelsea aswell, it will show there will together if they can see the job out in Italy aswell and show the critics who have been questioning Chelsea's team togetherness aswell. Will be tough out there. This week has yet again shown why the Premier League is at such a more higher standard than Italy and Spain. Like Bert said none of the English sides have conceded goals against some of the so called best teams in Italy and Spain. Well done to all the English teams and I hope they can all get through and get Quater Final draws that mean we can have 4 English teams in the Semi's.
