lildave3 Posted 24 February 2009 Posted 24 February 2009 Alex Ferguson would not keep and regularly select a player who's single attribute is "running quite a bit." I'm not saying it's his single attribute, but it's his strongest one.
Joe. Posted 24 February 2009 Posted 24 February 2009 Bendtner is dog poo. I was just laughing at how bad he is watching those highlights tonight. Poor excuse for a footballer.
Miquel The Work Geordie Posted 24 February 2009 Posted 24 February 2009 I'm not saying it's his single attribute, but it's his strongest one. No bad thing.
lildave3 Posted 24 February 2009 Posted 24 February 2009 No bad thing. Where did I say it was? He had a bit of a poor game, let's leave it at that
maddog Posted 24 February 2009 Posted 24 February 2009 I thought Park was one of United's better players on the night, linked well with Evra. If anyone should come in for criticism it should be Berbatov, he looked useless, tired, and leggy all night. Heaven forbid anyone on iTV will mention that though. He pretty much has since he joined there. Nothing like the player he was at Tottenham.
Mikey Posted 24 February 2009 Posted 24 February 2009 He pretty much has since he joined there.Nothing like the player he was at Tottenham. He's still got 12 goals, and some of them pretty important.
Corky Posted 24 February 2009 Posted 24 February 2009 Arsenal should be out of sight. They may rue these missed chances.
shen Posted 25 February 2009 Posted 25 February 2009 Bendtner was quite good today, ey? It's odd how he keeps buckling when he gets his chances at Arsenal. Just a completely different player from when he's in the NT. I can see qhy the English media are berating him so much on tonight's evidence. In his defense, he's doing well to get into goalscoring/dangerous positions, and playing on the left doesn't seem to bother him either. But his first touch and finishing, my word...
Darkzzz_ Posted 25 February 2009 Posted 25 February 2009 Hope Juve win tonight but I think under Hiddink they will do Juve. He is a master at defeating Italian teams.
Ultra Posted 25 February 2009 Posted 25 February 2009 He's still got 12 goals, and some of them pretty important. Most of them have been at OT though. Disappointing to see Fergie bottle it again at the San Siro. A United side playing 4-4-2 would have won comfortably last night. Mourinho will fancy his side's chances of nicking an away goal in the second leg. If that happens. Inter will go through.
Uncle Albert Posted 25 February 2009 Author Posted 25 February 2009 Come on you Scousers! Really hope they can grab a goal tonight, if Gerrard is out that might be a big blow. Hope Chelsea get a comfortable lead at the Bridge tonight aswell. A big shout out to Darren Fletcher last night, played very well with the pressure he is under concerning his family. Fairplay young man.
Joe. Posted 25 February 2009 Posted 25 February 2009 Hoping for a Liverpool win tonight, but I'm thinking a draw's on the cards for this one. Same with Chelsea, although I hope those bastards lose.
Samilktray Posted 25 February 2009 Posted 25 February 2009 Hoping Liverpool and Chelsea lose tonight.
Collier Posted 25 February 2009 Posted 25 February 2009 Personally I want Real to demolish Liverpool.
purpleronnie Posted 25 February 2009 Posted 25 February 2009 If liverpool get any sort of a result at Real it would be extremely good. As I picked Madrid to win the CL (with juve) I guess I'm going for them to win tonight but I would like the english clubs to do well so I guess i really dont mind who goes through.
welck12 Posted 25 February 2009 Posted 25 February 2009 I dont care who wins i'm just hoping for some entertaining football to watch. Cant decide between boring chelsea, or the negativity of benitiz. Thinking the gung ho approach of Real just swings the balance

Cant decide between boring chelsea, or the negativity of benitiz. Thinking the gung ho approach of Real just swings the balance Real will be just as catious as Liverpool in the early going of this match, Real will be scared of Torres and maybe Gerrard's threat on the counter attack so I wouldnt expect to see Real bombing everyone on at all. Ramos will be restricted tonight because Reira wont track back as much as Kuyt will on the other flank. I am thinking maybe 1-1 tonight or Madrid sneaking a 2-1 win. Either way I can see Liverpool being to strong for Madrid at Anfield. 40,000+ Kopites might just see them through.
Floating Fox Posted 25 February 2009 Posted 25 February 2009 Nearly won on the bets last night, had 3 draws but Arsenal had to go and win! Got 3 home wins tonight, Less monies if it comes in though!
Bert Posted 25 February 2009 Posted 25 February 2009 Nearly won on the bets last night, had 3 draws but Arsenal had to go and win! Got 3 home wins tonight, Less monies if it comes in though! Chelsea - Real Madrid - Villareal.

Can see that but he has Diarra to chase gerrard around (if he plays, could see him starting on the bench although even if he's half fit he'll want to play) and with the mentality of the rest of the madrid starting 11 i cant seem them being to cautious myself. Plus on the back of the 6-1 drumming they gave Betis at weekend and the 9 game win streak they'll be brimming with confidence

When they beat Barca 2-1 in the Nou Camp, got a 0-0 against Juve in 05 and last season with beating Inter 1-0 away. He knows his European football does Rafa, shame he cant use his brains in England.

Cant argue with any of that! As soon as he learns he needs two strikers up front in the prem liverpool will most likely win the league!
