Guest Posted 24 February 2009 Posted 24 February 2009 I was wondering that too. I can't remember the East Stand being that full since West Ham in 2004/2005.It was a horrible day. Yeah it was sold out wasn't it if I remember correctly, proper party atmos up until kick off then it all went pear-shaped
JakeShingler Posted 24 February 2009 Posted 24 February 2009 definately "the 3 wise monkeys" picture is an all time classic :D
Tommeh Posted 24 February 2009 Posted 24 February 2009 Great pic but probably the worst I've felt after a game bar Stoke of course, at least at Stoke I could feel an immense amount of pride but weds. at home there was nothing. After I turned down 2 lifts home, didn't use my return on the train and left my dad waiting at his work to take me home and just walked on and on, through sheer depression, got from the ground to Birstall, where i picked up the bus.
Hitesh Posted 24 February 2009 Posted 24 February 2009 Yeah it was sold out wasn't it if I remember correctly, proper party atmos up until kick off then it all went pear-shaped Yep! Amazing atmosphere but I felt so gutted when it all went wrong. Hadn't felt like that since Spurs Final in 99. And I think I knew that day after the game that it wasn't meant to be and we would probably playing in League 1!
GLC Posted 24 February 2009 Posted 24 February 2009 Logan - Whereabouts in the Kop you sit? Not got a season ticket, Will be getting one this year though (hopefully)

charliefox Posted 24 February 2009 Posted 24 February 2009 That day was horrible. When we were 1-0 up and they missed the penalty I really thought that it was posibly going to be our day. Haha, couldn't have been more wrong.

C-man Posted 24 February 2009 Author Posted 24 February 2009 Yeah Hume missed a pen when the score was 1-1.
charliefox Posted 24 February 2009 Posted 24 February 2009 I thought Hume missed a pen? Hendo saved one from them too?
C-man Posted 24 February 2009 Author Posted 24 February 2009 Carlisle United away this season, must have been taken before kick off. Ok, it doesn\'t want to upload.... http://img518.imageshack.us/my.php?image=carlisleaway08.jpg
BoneDog Posted 24 February 2009 Posted 24 February 2009 Hendo saved one from them too? I seem to remember he did. He saved 3 on the trot I think, including Sheff Utd away but Beattie got on the rebound. Hume's penalty miss against Wednesday was terrible. Piss weak peno in the most important game so far in that season. The week after the great win at Barnsley when things had started looking up.

Bert Posted 24 February 2009 Posted 24 February 2009 Yeah Hume missed a pen when the score was 1-1. Don't wanna be a ball buster, but we were 2-1 down.
