Matt Posted 23 February 2009 Posted 23 February 2009 Out today, I've just bought it, Not many albums have all songs that you like on the first listen, I'm currently on track 9 on my first listen and love all the songs so far. Sounds good. I do fear Omen might get abit boring soon due to Radio 1 over play it, Unusual for them to over play and 'kill' a song isn't it! Really want to see them on their tour or at Download now.

I haven't actually heard it much on Radio 1, but I have listened to it a bit anyway and already it is getting a bit boring/repetitive.
Big Ol' Bob Posted 23 February 2009 Posted 23 February 2009 So good to have them back, and a word of advice. DO NOT LISTEN TO RADIO 1.
Joe. Posted 23 February 2009 Posted 23 February 2009 Yeah I like it, I just hope they don't destroy themselves by going in the direction of bands like Kings of Leon.

No chance, they're already too legendary for that. Been around putting out amazing tunes since the late 80's, early 90's. One of the major driving forces behind the rave generation and have constantly reinvented themselves successfully. One of few bands to truly make the crossover with fans from the dance genre and rock genre plus loads in between. Roll on April 11th!
hairy Posted 23 February 2009 Posted 23 February 2009 Its nowhere near Music For A Gilted Generation or Fat Of The Land I think its shite.

As long as they play plenty of classics from Experience and Jilted I'll be happy. Oh, and Firestarter too. And Smack my Bitch Up.
The People's Hero Posted 26 February 2009 Posted 26 February 2009 Fat of the Land is where it's at. Haven't heard the new one though. Linky?
