Head Honcho Posted 10 March 2009 Posted 10 March 2009 Hennessy 1.30 25/1 Mikael d'Haguenet 2.05 4/1 Ballyfitz 2.40 14/1 Well Chief 3.20 10/1 Ninetieth Minute 4.00 18/1 20p Canadian Beware If backing big price accies online make sure your stake isn't too high as I've just tried to place a bet with Corals but they have a £100k payout limit (joke I know) To get around this instead of doing a canadian I did doubles trebles 4 folds and an accie each of these bets are counted as seperate bets so my max payout now would be £124k A long shot if they come in anyway but just thought I'd share this info.
Matt Posted 10 March 2009 Posted 10 March 2009 Really struggle to pick some for tomorrow but i've came up with these; £1 e/w 1.30 - Can't Buy Time - 9/2 £1 e/w 2.40 - Gone To Lunch - 13/2 50p e/w 2.40 - Ballyfitz - 16/1 50p e/w 3.20 - Petit Robin - 12/1 50p e/w 4.00 - Great Endeavour - 12/1 C'mon please more winners! Lets build from todays winning and hammer the bookies this week, for once.
fox123 Posted 11 March 2009 Posted 11 March 2009 4:00 Cheltenham In such a wide open race im willing to take Lough Derg at 25/1 to score a each way bet today. He is top weight but because he is the top rated horse in the race. His last few runs have been world class and has put in some top performances. He was very unlucky when missing out to top horse in serabad. However the next time out he sorted out that near miss when winning well by nearly 2 lengths. We no he can win here because he has 4 wins to his name already at this track. The trip is shorter than his normal and he has only tried this 3 times before winning once. However I feel with the weight he has today the shorter trip could help him come close. 25/1 at the moment is great each way value.
Ric Flair Posted 11 March 2009 Posted 11 March 2009 Ski Sunday is going to upset a few formal dinners.
fox123 Posted 11 March 2009 Posted 11 March 2009 The favourites cruising in this race... stand to loose £675 if it wins.

Matt Posted 11 March 2009 Posted 11 March 2009 Shocking day. I spent £8.50 on bets today and got £2.10 in returns. Oh well, From 10 bets over 2 days, A return of £45.35, and a loss of £6.40, so far i'm happy with that, Could do with some winners tomorrow though.
dandannieldanok Posted 11 March 2009 Posted 11 March 2009 Just one winner for me out of about 5 bets, so just about covered my outlay.
Sparky Posted 11 March 2009 Posted 11 March 2009 Had Head Honchos canadian so got a £16 return , but had fair few other bets so slightly down for today

dandannieldanok Posted 11 March 2009 Posted 11 March 2009 Anyone got any tips for the Ryanair chase tomorrow, everywhere I look Voy Por Ustedes is the clear favourite but I'm not so sure.
Head Honcho Posted 11 March 2009 Posted 11 March 2009 Had Head Honchos canadian so got a £16 return , but had fair few other bets so slightly down for today I got £19 back from it Off to the festival tomorrow so can't wait. 9am train from Newport gets into Celtenham just after 10am so it's gonna be a long day with hopefully a few winner. I wish I'd been there today because I'd have had a tenner on those two winners.
Matt Posted 11 March 2009 Posted 11 March 2009 Anyone got any tips for the Ryanair chase tomorrow, everywhere I look Voy Por Ustedes is the clear favourite but I'm not so sure. Not a tip, But the owner of my companys horse races tomorrow, I always mention it whenever it races, It seems to be improving by every race and I have seen it mentioned a few places for this race. Imperial Commander @ around 6/1 It was being entered for the Gold Cup on Friday but the trainer decided to go for this race instead. The first time I ever bet on it, I an everyone from work got abit excited by it and I lost £20 on it I think, but whenever I have bet on it since (About 3 or 4 times) I have always had a return, and as I said it seems to be improving every race, However Voy Por Ustedes is a good horse.

Matt Posted 11 March 2009 Posted 11 March 2009 Bets for tomorrow, I'm feeling some outsiders to come in tomorrow - Hopefully the outsider I have picked! I think i'm losing it tbh, Had a good first day and gonna be a poor rest of the week - My mood might change should I have some/any winners tomorrow. 50p e/w 1.30 - Ring The Boss - 18/1. £2 e/w 2.40 - Imperial Commander - 6/1. 37p e/w 2.40 - Mister McGoldrick - 66/1. -You might laugh at 37p e/w but I had £28.74 in one of my accounts so though I might aswell round it off to £28.00 And I was gutted last year I saw Mister McGoldrick at 66/1 last year and said to my mate "That ain't a bad bet" his reply was "You do pick some shit" when I got home I checked the results, who had won? Mister McGoldrick @ 66/1 So hopefully it will get me some pennies this year, really do doubt it. 50p e/w 3.20 - Mighty Man - 33/1. Lucky 15 2.05 - Don't Push It - 7/1 2.40 - Voy Por Ustedes - 11/10 3.20 - Kasbah Bliss - 5/4 4.00 - Clarified - 13/2 I take it Bert has gone to Tranmere tonight and there won't be any tips or advise from him tonight for tomorrow?

Ric Flair Posted 12 March 2009 Posted 12 March 2009 Ski Sunday is going to upset a few formal dinners. So so close to winning, but a nice each way return.
Ric Flair Posted 12 March 2009 Posted 12 March 2009 Hills of Aran in the 2.05 could run a big race at 20/1 (odds in The Sun). It's had battles with Kazbah Bliss and Lough Derg in the past and not done badly. It's last 2 runs have been very promising as well. I shall be on this.
Dr The Singh Posted 12 March 2009 Posted 12 March 2009 Good to see a Punjabi win the other day!! If I saw that name I would have bet on it, anybody know the odds???

Ric Flair Posted 12 March 2009 Posted 12 March 2009 It's a non-runner. Pissed off, really had a good feeling about it as well.
