BlabyFox Posted 28 February 2009 Posted 28 February 2009 Meh. I'd say he is passionate which is good, but annoying also.
Tilley Posted 28 February 2009 Posted 28 February 2009 I heard the recap on the way home & I thought his reaction was brilliant, absolutely brilliant.
Dagha_07 Posted 28 February 2009 Posted 28 February 2009 His long shouting and screaming is what makes him so good to listen to.
DB11 Posted 28 February 2009 Posted 28 February 2009 He's not annoying he's passionate. It's a spur of the moment thing and it's great to hear
Mark Posted 28 February 2009 Posted 28 February 2009 His commentary for Gradels goal today was classic!
turkish14 Posted 28 February 2009 Posted 28 February 2009 I have not found him annoying until today, i think he thought he was still commentating for mk dons. When decisions went against mk, it wasn't the problem he was trying to be fair but the passion and anger towards the ref when he did not give mk the correct decisions got me a bit pissed
Benji Posted 28 February 2009 Posted 28 February 2009 I'd take his screaming over "it's erm, um, oh a goal for leicester"
Father Ted Posted 28 February 2009 Posted 28 February 2009 He's a fooking legend! Is great to hear someone celebrating when you score.
Asha Posted 28 February 2009 Posted 28 February 2009 http://www.bbc.co.uk/iplayer/episode/p0028...ime_28_02_2009/ Skip to about 37:45 for the commentary highlights.
Tilley Posted 28 February 2009 Posted 28 February 2009 Listening to his commentary for the goal is quality.
J.Lisemore Posted 28 February 2009 Posted 28 February 2009 I don't think hes annoying at all...good enough commentator in my opinion.
Ultra Posted 1 March 2009 Posted 1 March 2009 Even though he said the free-kick for our equaliser should never have been given? Stringer's also extremely fickle - far worse than anyone on here. He spent the last ten minutes of the game (before stoppage time) saying how the game was lost and wondering if the wheels of our title challenge were beginning to come off. I know the match must have been a little strange for him, returning to one of his former stamping grounds, but this was not one one of his better matches.
Guest Posted 1 March 2009 Posted 1 March 2009 I enjoy his commentary when I'm not at the match, if we all want to reminisce about being annoyed, just think back to the halcyon days of Jon Barber
Daggers Posted 1 March 2009 Posted 1 March 2009 Go to the game? Maybe he'd not be as annoying? Boooosh! Job done
Fosse Boy Posted 1 March 2009 Posted 1 March 2009 Foulgier fo' lyfe, but Stringer is far better than Baaaaaahhhh-ber.
