Thracian

Corpus Christi not so clever after all...

I actually read that when it first went online bizarrely. It was the second topic of conversation at work this morning after "Was that you on Football Focus on Saturday?". Now THAT is cool Finnegan

Points for being on telly: +10.

Points for being on telly crying your eyes out: -50.

That's definitely a net loss.

At 19:38? 56 minutes before Thracian, you're a pioneer!

Last updated =/= Time the story went up. Fairly sure I heard about that yesterday.

I like The Metro:

PAEDOPHILE KILLER ON THE LOOSE

Picture: Baby seal receives food.

Does it have a radioactive paedophile though? Then it's clearly not as good as The Mail. So there.

I wish I had been crying, it started raining shortly after and I could actually legitimately sing this anytime anyone mentioned it

It'd be almost as good as the moment I actually managed to use "Diversity? I believe it's an old old wooden ship from the civil war era" legitimately in conversation.

Nah, the story was that they were investigating. The update at 1938 was that Corpus Christi was disqualified.

I watched that Gail 'The human Google' Trimble on BBC news channel last week, and she mentioned she had an offer from Nuts to strip... Please keep your clothes on love.

Her intellect is there to be admired but it does amuse me how the media seem to think we need and want people to be turned into sex symbols.

For all I know she might be wonderful company and a delight between the sheets but in terms of looks I doubt she'd turn more than one head in a lot as an anonymous girl in the street.

That doesn't make her unfanciable by any means (there's a lot of competition out there when it comes to looks) but me, I'd rather know how anyone can learn to retain so much information across such a broad range of subjects than consider her credentials as a sex goddess.

AND IF YOU'RE ON THE STREET, DEPENDING ON THE STREET, I BET YOU ARE DEFINITELY IN THE TOP THREE...

...GOOD LOOKING GIRLS ON THE STREET (depending on the street)

It would need to be a short cul-de-sac on a Sunday and in the pouring rain. :D

The controversy rumbles on and get's even deeper.

Seems that since 2000, three winners have had teams with an ineligible player, yet they've not been stripped of their title. I'll go with Bamber Gascoigne's view on this and say the rules should be changed.

Also, credit to the team from Manchester Uni. They've said right from the start, with typical British aplomb, that they were beaten by a better team, regardless of the ineligible player, and should not be given the title as they were fairly beaten.

Perhaps the captain should have played em on her own! :D
