Scow Posted 6 March 2009 Posted 6 March 2009 Any club that makes as many changes as we did in one season is unlikely to be successful.
Ultra Posted 7 March 2009 Posted 7 March 2009 At least the two (of the three) permanent signings Holloway made are now an integral part of our assault on League One and promotion campaign. Problem is, they were bought on the basis they would be an integral part of our assault on the Championship and promotion campaign. They proved not to be up for the task last season, and if they stay, they'll do no better next season.
surrifox Posted 7 March 2009 Posted 7 March 2009 Good Post Smokey!!No I am not full of shit or talking shit, Wolves will not go up this season, there bottle has totally gone, Reading and Birmingham and then a suprise team like sheffield united will go up, we will acheive back to back promotions guaranteed, if the recruiting is done wisely and fancy we will be above wolves next season, the foundations this season are in place, if the money is there and invested in the right playing personnel we have the best manager outside the top flight. So £500 wager on City up before wolves I will happily discuss this in one years time when we are in the mix again for promotion I'm inclined to agree that Wolves could feck it up- mancienne was clearly holding it all together for them, the thing that militates against it happening is probably that neither Reading or Brum seem capable of mounting a serious challenge and are desperately short of goals. There will be a late charge from someone possibly Sheff U but I hope not
Munzie Posted 7 March 2009 Posted 7 March 2009 I will wager anyone £500 that Leicester City gets to Premier league before Wolves You really are Maddog Allen!
Webbo Posted 7 March 2009 Posted 7 March 2009 Why is Sappleton one of them? He didnt play! He's never likely to either, that's why he's there.
StanSP Posted 7 March 2009 Posted 7 March 2009 I said a few months ago Wolves will cock it up.They are in the process of doing so. They won't go up. They will. Just maybe not in 1st as many thought would happen before Christmas with such a huge gap. Although the way they are playing now, they'll jsut come straight back down, possibly in a similar way Derby did, which was just plain funny!! But then I said that about Hull...

StanSP Posted 7 March 2009 Posted 7 March 2009 You hardly need to be a football expert to predict teams coming straight back down and Hull aren't safe by any means. Yeah I know Hull aren't safe, but at the start of the season, I thought they would be at the foot of the table, along with Stoke.
Daggers Posted 7 March 2009 Posted 7 March 2009 Why is Sappleton one of them? He didnt play! The sig was made after we had signed our 12th person of the summer. 12 = dozen
Master Fox Posted 7 March 2009 Posted 7 March 2009 Hussein Kaebi lol lol lol lol those were the days...... Oh christ.
clazkel Posted 7 March 2009 Posted 7 March 2009 Whatever Holloway! So you didn't bring in alot of players, drop decent players, play players out of positions, end up with 4 strikers up front towards the end of games with no midfield and no shape to the team? Im afraid you did! When you took your shoes off at Sheffiled Utd tho, that was funny! And when you said Carl Cort got off his death bed to play for us after he got booed by some fans when we got beat at home, that was amusing, but you have to take abit of the blame for us going down, surely!
