Finnegan Posted 7 March 2009 Posted 7 March 2009 Your Welsh so that doesn't even count. Weeeeaaaaaak.
Sods Posted 7 March 2009 Posted 7 March 2009 What was he saying to you? I saw him speaking to you and some others. Despite the fact that a bloke came up next to us, stood on his chair (why?!) all half, kept banging on the back, making a crack in the thing with his elbow and drinking beer and didn't get spoke to at all. Although, amazingly, he didn't come back for the second half That lad got ejected at half time. Basically saying that they are going to crack down on standing in our section, and targeting certain groups. He said we would be banned for a minimum of three games. What really annoyed me was that he only asked us three to sit down, then made no attempt to get anyone to sit down. I asked everyone behind do they want to sit down and they said no. Then when he went downstairs he was just watching us for the whole game. He was a total cock. How can two people who stood up half way in SK1 for the majourity of the game with the people sat down behind not told anything but three of us chosing to stand where others have obviously gone to stand be told.
Sparky Posted 7 March 2009 Posted 7 March 2009 Fair play to them , funny as fook when they kept appearing upp the steps from different blocks " Were going to Shrewsbury , que sera sera "

Making it clear how they want the ground to look next season, I'm done with it all now. As for Cheltenham, fair play. Nice bunch and deserve everyones respect. Good luck in the future.
Munzie Posted 7 March 2009 Posted 7 March 2009 From the Kop, the Cheltenahm fans were very quiet, couldn't hear any singing. The conga did look cool though and the reception they got from L1 when they emerged from the tunnel was hilarious! I'm glad they had a good day out despite the score.
MPH Posted 7 March 2009 Posted 7 March 2009 Anybody else want to give me some abuse...feel free ok. you smell of wee and you got no friends. hows that? im new at this abuse thing ( jk of course!)
Father Ted Posted 7 March 2009 Posted 7 March 2009 ok.you smell of wee and you got no friends. hows that? im new at this abuse thing ( jk of course!) That's good, I like it  Better than what any Welshman could come up with.

I'm glad they had a good day out despite the score. There weren't many of them though, eh? Trust me - they were quality today. L1 must have spent the best part of 10 minutes watching and singing to them this afternoon rather than watch the match. And they didn't need to be loud as we sung their songs for them
ctfcwymans Posted 7 March 2009 Posted 7 March 2009 Cheers for all the kind words. We've had quite a few Clubs say similar things recently, normally Clubs who have recently visited Whaddon Road. Good friendly banter is what it's all about. I have to say, although you dont need telling..... you lot are far too good for League one. All the best in the Championship and hopefully we meet you in the cup. I'll be keeping a close eye on your progress after today, all the best. "stand up for the champions"

Pst Posted 7 March 2009 Posted 7 March 2009 Great bunch of lads, only team I've seen having a laugh when they're 3/4 nil down
ThurmastonFox Posted 7 March 2009 Posted 7 March 2009 It was quite weird sitting next to the away fans today. It was like love had broken out between Cheltenham and L1. Brilliant banter well given and taken on both sides. Best away fans ever by far to visit the Walkers in my opinion. Made me laugh when the steward tried to stop the conga and L1 and the Cheltenham fans joined forces to tell him where to go!!!
clazkel Posted 7 March 2009 Posted 7 March 2009 Great banter, great win, loved the conga and atmosphere, but even though the Cheltenham fans seemed to have a good time today i did feel sorry for them because of the situation they are in, looks like they are going down, they've got no money and could go bust. Nice to see that they can still have a laugh though, and have a sense of humour, 'can we play you every week' and 'we'll never play you again'.
CTFC_Patesy Posted 7 March 2009 Posted 7 March 2009 Gotta say probably one of the best away trips I've been on. Stewards at your ground are top class don't care about standing or doing conga. Absolutely terrific support today and I wish you all the best in the championship and hopefully we'll have a friendly against you in pre season not behind closed doors. You really are the champions of this league and you have wiped the floor with it. Was just a training match for you today and how the OG was offside I'll never know!! But true set of supporters and I'll certainly be lookin out at your results now. Good luck next season and future!! And thanks for a memorable day!!!
RyanCTFC Posted 7 March 2009 Posted 7 March 2009 They weren't that good. Didn't hear 'em sing once and Stockport were ten times better with just as many fans. haha tbh ur a complete dick. im a cheltenham fan and i thought the whole atmosphere was brilliant, so u go in the so-called kop?? haha at least the away teams get to see the proper fans. not just moaning part-timers, who expect everything on a plate. so to all the awesome leicester fans by us,, thanks for making this game memorable. i love your drummer. hes my hero. hope to see u all again, u never no i might come along to some games next season and cheer on the foxes. good luck!!

leftsideoverhere Posted 7 March 2009 Posted 7 March 2009 Cheers, Ryan and Patesy, glad you enjoyed your day out at the Walkers. It's fair to say we couldn't hear a lot from you sitting in the opposite corner, but the L1 crew seem to have really enjoyed their day bantering with you. And that YouTube clip of the conga is destined to become a classic. Fingers crossed for you for the rest of the season, and good luck for next term wherever you are.

RyanCTFC Posted 7 March 2009 Posted 7 March 2009 You don't even know me!!!! haa i dnt want to. theres always one whos jealous.
dandannieldanok Posted 7 March 2009 Posted 7 March 2009 Remember a few seasons back going to the final game of the season at Notts County sitting with the Cheltenham away following. Cheltenham lost and got relegated but there were at least 2,000 fans there and despite the relegation provided great support. No relevance to today but just to say the Chelt fans were great then.
CTFC_James Posted 7 March 2009 Posted 7 March 2009 Im glad that you enjoyed the day as much as us, BTW, i thought the drummer was absolute class, taking a shed load of stick and still coming over to our bus and clapping us away. Cheers Leicster fans, The best experience of football in my life. Hopefully play you in a pre season friendly next season, sure us conga lot will return happily
Finnegan Posted 7 March 2009 Posted 7 March 2009 haa i dnt want to. theres always one whos jealous. Stick around, we'll probably like you lot more than Father Ted.
