kimsalabim Posted 8 March 2009 Posted 8 March 2009 When I die I want to be reborn as a Cheltenham fan; If they ever have money troubles then I'll be selling my wife and the kids' Wii to help them. They were pure quality - my favourite fans away from home and now my favourites at home. As Carl said - if we'd gone one down and were fighting a 10-man defence to get level maybe we'd be thinking differently. I hope they had a brilliant day out - as I was on the bike at the lights the everyone on the pavement was shaking hands with the Cheltenham fans in the car in front of me. G'wan the Cheltenham! totally agree, they are now my "second team"

I read their website and they have a Players v Supporters match, with the man of the match on the supporters team playing 20 mins in a pre season friendly next season... What a brilliant football club... Top Class... Fans, Club, superb...

merseyparadise Posted 8 March 2009 Posted 8 March 2009 As a Tranmere fan, i'd like to add to there praises. There just one of them clubs who always act human. If only some of our fans would take note. Fair play to Chelts...
Fox You Forest Posted 8 March 2009 Posted 8 March 2009 Their Forumhttp://www.robinsnestforum.co.uk/index.php...225cdfc84815c23 I was just having a quick look and saw this, it was in a thread about what expectations are for next season. Had me choking on a fruit pastille. 17th at best. All current players will be gone and a bunch of super duper MA signings. There will be Oopsy Dropsey, a Czech goal keeper, Cannae Tackle, a scottish right back, Nopass Backy, a nigerian centre back Headit Owt, Danish Centre back Denna Lethimcrossit, Icelandic left back Kic Nhope, Ghanian midfielder Panik Ondeball, Russian Midfielder Kant Passwell, French Midfielder Lef Legnackered, American Midfielder Wer Dhigo, Kenyan Midfielder Shootsen Mizzes, Egyptian Striker

CosbehFox Posted 9 March 2009 Posted 9 March 2009 Much better then singing the usual shite, some fans in the south stand were singing Cheerio when they were going down the concourse. Aye...utter plonkers. Fair play to Cheltenham fans tho. A nice Saturday friendly at Whaddon Road next season please, in the sun preferable.
JoeyB Posted 9 March 2009 Posted 9 March 2009 Aye...utter plonkers. Fair play to Cheltenham fans tho. A nice Saturday friendly at Whaddon Road next season please, in the sun preferable. Am all up for that.
CosbehFox Posted 9 March 2009 Posted 9 March 2009 Would make the ideal pre-season friendly. Easy to get to, cracking town, niceish ground, parking not problem, decent company.
Daggers Posted 9 March 2009 Posted 9 March 2009 Would make the ideal pre-season friendly. Easy to get to, cracking town, niceish ground, parking not problem, decent company. We'd take a load of people down and it would contribute some badly needed funds to the club. Someone who goes to a Fans' Consultative meeting ought to put it to the club? Or people should write to Jones.
Katy Posted 9 March 2009 Posted 9 March 2009 didnt see you. That's because you didn't look like you usually do.
