Corky Posted 8 March 2009 Posted 8 March 2009 The Cheltenham fans were class yesterday- took the beating in good spirits and had a laugh, the conga was good to watch and even starting the wave- fantastic. Got a lot of respect for them now- nice little club with excellent fans.
Guest Posted 8 March 2009 Posted 8 March 2009 Now that, my friends, is banter! I haven't laughed so much in ages at a game, and credit and thanks to the Cheltenham fans for everything! The conga
Corky Posted 8 March 2009 Posted 8 March 2009 Now that, my friends, is banter! I haven't laughed so much in ages at a game, and credit and thanks to the Cheltenham fans for everything! The conga I wonder if the Leeds fans will do the same at 4-0 down?
Maybes Posted 8 March 2009 Posted 8 March 2009 I wonder if the Leeds fans will do the same at 4-0 down? Hahahaaa
mikelcfc Posted 8 March 2009 Posted 8 March 2009 Gotta say probably one of the best away trips I've been on. Stewards at your ground are top class don't care about standing or doing conga. Absolutely terrific support today and I wish you all the best in the championship and hopefully we'll have a friendly against you in pre season not behind closed doors. You really are the champions of this league and you have wiped the floor with it. Was just a training match for you today and how the OG was offside I'll never know!! But true set of supporters and I'll certainly be lookin out at your results now. Good luck next season and future!! And thanks for a memorable day!!! woooo im a top class steward your fans were great fun and we all have requested a message to go back to your club praising your support ... .... il go back into my corner now....
Guest Bilo Posted 8 March 2009 Posted 8 March 2009 I wonder if the Leeds fans will do the same at 4-0 down? Vision of the future maybe? (Didn't know Sharon Osbourne was a Leeds fan)
Katy Posted 8 March 2009 Posted 8 March 2009 I have to say I have developed a major soft spot for Cheltenham Town, had a lovely chat with a supporter pre match and he was really humble and laid back about their position. Loving the conga and the lads at the back celebrating our goals as well (possibly in a us V Walsall type way though haha) Top lads and lasses, I wish them well.
Fosse Boy Posted 8 March 2009 Posted 8 March 2009 I take it there were good numbers of Cheltenham fans standing for the whole match yesterday?
Maybes Posted 8 March 2009 Posted 8 March 2009 I take it there were good numbers of Cheltenham fans standing for the whole match yesterday? About 50. They only bought about 500 supporters. The 50 at the back though were a reet laugh.
Mr Happy Posted 8 March 2009 Posted 8 March 2009 Oh and on a side note, SK1 section supervisor your a joke, I won't be renewing my season ticket in the same seat next year. Is this the old bald white coated wearing tosser by any chance?
C-man Posted 8 March 2009 Posted 8 March 2009 Is this the old bald white coated wearing tosser by any chance? Yeah, wanker.
Mr Happy Posted 8 March 2009 Posted 8 March 2009 Yeah, wanker. I know who you mean <_< I've heard a rumour going round that everybody (including the children and teenagers) in his section is going to stand up next home game I don't think he'll mind, much
Corky Posted 8 March 2009 Posted 8 March 2009 I really hope Cheltenham win League 2 next season if they go down- their support yesterday was top class and there's absolutely nothing to dislike about them at all. They even did the double over Leeds last season
Katy Posted 8 March 2009 Posted 8 March 2009 I've heard a rumour going round that everybody (including the children and teenagers) in his section is going to stand up next home game I don't think he'll mind, much That should be interesting.....
