Fosse Boy Posted 18 March 2009 Posted 18 March 2009 Yeah I heard the Baby Squad are intent on installing some seating in the away end.
Cobbo Posted 18 March 2009 Posted 18 March 2009 Flipping ridiculous! It was possibly the worst journey on a train I've ever had, and I've I'd had a few!
Cobbo Posted 18 March 2009 Posted 18 March 2009 No. I was sober by the time I'd left the bar. I reckons a breathalyzer would state otherwise
ctfc for life Posted 18 March 2009 Posted 18 March 2009 Will it still be standing after our "hooligans"- quote from Barry Fry- have smashed it up come on down you already know are songs we could do with some more we won again last night we could be on a great escape
Matt Posted 6 April 2009 Posted 6 April 2009 Birmingham have just been doing the conga!Thiefs <_< That looked great.
Fosse Boy Posted 10 April 2009 Posted 10 April 2009 I think we should have some commemorative scarves made. Half the scarf for Leicester and half for Cheltenham.
Guest Posted 10 April 2009 Posted 10 April 2009 A conga on the terrace for Cheltenham surely? Now there's a plan
Fosse Boy Posted 10 April 2009 Posted 10 April 2009 A conga on the terrace for Cheltenham surely? I'm in.
davieG Posted 10 April 2009 Posted 10 April 2009 Posted by CG69 on Bentleys Decided to go to Cheltenham v Peterboro today as it was only £15 in the seats as Peterboro were given behind the goal as well. When I walked in I started to see a few Leicester fans with Jobber being the most notable one. Cheltenham fans treated him like he was famous as at least 10 people had their photos with him. Also half the songs sang by the Cheltenham ( and Leicester ) were Leicester songs. The Peterboro stewards didn't know what to make of it. How the fook Peterboro didn't win i'll never know They had 25 shots on goal and scored one wheras Cheltenham had one and scored one. They also had 15 corners to 1 but couldn't put it in. I think Cheltenham fans were actually overawed that Leicester fans were amongst them and loved taunting the Peterboro library.
Fosse Boy Posted 10 April 2009 Posted 10 April 2009 Good to hear that we took a few. Friends forever.
The Reverend Posted 10 April 2009 Posted 10 April 2009 I'm in love with Cheltenham. They may have just won us the title.

Matt Posted 10 April 2009 Posted 10 April 2009 Check out Chelt's wikipedia page! Cheltenham Town F.C. FriendshipsCheltenham Town have developed a good relationship with Leicester City F.C. fans in the 2008-2009 season. This came as a result of Leicester City's admiration for the behaviour and passionate support of the Cheltenham Town fans at the Walkers Stadium in March 2009, in spite of Cheltenham's heavy defeat. This extended to a high number of fans from Leicester attending the match between Peterborough United F.C. and Cheltenham Town to support the Robins, which ended in a 1-1 draw (incidentally a highly beneficial result for the Foxes in the title race). At this match, as at the earlier match at the Walkers Stadium, both fans sang songs in praise of the other. A Facebook group has been set up to mark the friendship between the two clubs and currently has nearly 200 members drawn from the fanbases of both clubs. There have been calls from some for Cheltenham and Leicester to arrange a pre-season friendly to celebrate the relationship between the fans. Cheltenham Town and Leicester City Fans
